Arena in my opinon are a very underated band .They for me contined the Marillion legercy Fish era with Mick when he and Clive formed the band .Fantastic stuff.Prog or neo prog at its best

je les ai vu à Strasbourg sur la tournée de Pride, c'était marrant quand j'y pense, mon pote et moi on était à côté de la console de mix, il y avait la playlist posée dessus et quand j'ai lu "Grendel" j'ai eu du mal à réaliser, alors quand ils ont commencé à le jouer j'ai eu le même effet de surprise que si je n'avais pas vu la playlist

H-Marillion, apart from the Season's end album and parts of Holidays in Eden, is just not Fish-Marillion. I just tell myself that those are 2 different bands, therefore I'm able to like both eras.

La vache Je n'avais jamais entendu ce cover. C'est du très bon. Pour ma part je dissocie aisément les deux périodes de Marillion. C'est comme pour Pink Floyd. Diverses époques. Chacune ayant de quoi me faire vibrer. Après on aime, on écoute. On n'aime pas...on passe son chemin. Rien ne dit que Marillion aurait eu la même carrière si Fish était resté. Et puis pour ma part j'écoute aussi les albums de Fish.

Great guitar, vocals and drums on this - I think Kelly and Trewavas build a better spooky soundscape. but for a live version this is really up there.

Marillion died with fish leaving, even thou it was still for the best. But this is not that bad, pretty great actually. Huge fan from the days of script and fugazi so this was great to see. Long live mick!

Try a dutch early Marillion covers band called Mister Punch - very good sound and stagecraft and their guitarist is better looking that Rothery.

Not the same band, but an equal pleasure. Fish's voice would not have held up through all the subsequent albums and tours. His voice and persona wouldn't have worked with the Albert Hall / Orchestra gigs. Room in my hard drive for both bands - and Arena.
