Actually according to the rules you're only allowed to summon units before the planeswalker moves and you can only play spells before you move or after you have attacked.

From the rulebook: "When you move onto a water space from any other space (even from another water space), you must end your move there." Gideon did not follow that rule, and some other rules got mixed up as well(?). Maybe you should add a sub text to the video pointing these things out? It would be extremely helpful, especially for those newbies you mentioned.

Bought Shadow Over Innistrad for 3 bucks at the local Wallmart, the base set for 10 bucks at Toys R US and the last expansion for 5 bucks online. 18 dollars total for all the games and brought to my home country, awesome deal! Excellent game!

I thought of applying a modifier to the bridges (from Rachel's D.Y.I vid), a-1 movement over the "rickety" bridge, with no mod to a sturdier bridge. Also what's your thought on dam dealt to a bridge?, Doing dam to bring a sturdy bridge down to rickety. Thoughts?

+BubbA W. Carter. Good ideas. We've done some similar stuff with other homebrewed terrain pieces. As for damaging the bridge, Heroscape had a bridge terrain piece that actually has some rules for destroying it, similar to the rules for the spire pieces from the Shadows Over Innistrad. The terrain card for the HS bridge is floating around somewhere on the heroscapers forum.

I thought that you could only summon before you move. and that they have to be adjacent which if they are higher up then it isn't adjacent.

I'm confused … Did you use some kind of special custom rules? Because I don''t understand the rules in the rule book as some kind of CTF game and if I read it right, you have to summon before you move your figure.

thought of another question Q: can i only have 2 squads to summon or can i have more EXAMPLE: nissa can summon those elementals and rangers but from other sets can i also have her summon the werewolves and any other such green creature squads giving me an enitre army cuz that sounds way more fun

+matchuful you can have as many as you want, but keep in mind the total point value for your army as well as your opponents. Generally speaking, you want the two forces to be as close in points as possible. Also, part of the fun with this game is in bending the rules or inventing your own. Try out whatever you'd like

I actually found a bunch of terrain at a thrift store, but I haven't had a chance to use it in a game yet. Do you have any tips on how to build maps that reward tactical play? Maybe even redoing this scenario with modified terrain?

Ok, I have a game question. During a turn can my Planeswalker attack and then use an ability? Eg. ( Liliana's "Necroblast" followed by her "Snuff out" power/ability? Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the great videos.

+BubbA W. Carter. If you have selected your planeswalker as your active unit for the turn, you can cast spells before or after your attack roll, and may use any of their relevant abilities listed on their unit card during that turn (so long as the specific ability rules allow). You can only use unit abilities (ie those listed on their cards) on a turn that you have selected that specific unit.

Unfortunately we've had zero success in getting any response from Hasbro about AoTP. They've done some limited stuff with IndieGogo, but I honestly doubt they'll ever go the KS route.

+Hector Vera A variety of paints, from cheap acrylics up to Citadel stuff. Rachel has a painting series of vids where she goes in depth about various paints, brushes, etc, and some of them use the AoTP minis. Highly recommend you check them out if you want more info.
