Had an issue with my golf r engine in march this year and contacted nathan to chat about the issue and potential solutions- took his time to chat to me twice and mega knowledgeable guy, and was ready to send the car to him for an engine rebuild but I ended up not needing it. Would 100% recommend them just given that experience

Great vid, the information 👌 is priceless. I have a Skoda Superb 206tsi Mk3 Sportline running Galano Engineering stage 2 255kw (341hp) at the wheels with 529nm torque. EA8883. 2018. Just like this video 2nd,3rd and 4th into 5th boost by gear just keeps pulling. Runs about 30psi. IS38.

The ea888 is a great engine but if you want to chase big numbers you will always be limited by the internal intake manifold. It's why you won't see more than 750 bhp out of one, the older Ea113 has been pushed to over 1000 bhp (it's all about the air flow)

Question on the ZRP rods. The AUD 009 I has no rifle dril and the IR does. @ares which one do you recomend?

For street driven cars we recommend the rifle drilled rods for longevity of the wrist pins, this is also called “forced pin oiling” states side

one more opinion please. My motor (ea888 gen 3 mk7.5) is currently being build with Zrp rods and pistons. Now I live in South africa with a very mild climate. Temp rarely drop below freezing and only aiming for 320 ish wkw. Builder wants to use liqui moly 10w60 which has NO vw approval. In your opinion, which oil would be better to use. Yes, trust the builder, but I have concerns. Any input will be highly appreciated
