What a weapon of a car, nowhere near as loud as the other one but it’s got a lot nicer tone to it on the scorpion. I don’t think I could live with all the pops and bangs though.
@S3Ranj9 сағат бұрын
@@ShalomBrother Ha, thanks! Agreed re the sound. The pops and bangs are very limited. Out of 80% of the footage, you only heard a couple of them, which I included in the video. I can’t imagine what they would look like mapped in!

@S3Ranj9 сағат бұрын
@@ShalomBrother I've been advised, by those who built by engine is, once it gets to around 75c, it's fine. The actual engine temps will be around 15c higher, so it's fine.

Is it the exhaust system causing the flames or the map?
@S3Ranj21 сағат бұрын
@@AshtonLawrence-k7n Both, IMO. Before, the flames, same ECU map. Now, flames with the new exhaust. On the Dyno run, we did notice that it wanted to, but the X Force system, wasn’t allowing.

The rs3 brakes, are they a straight swap onto the s3 pal?
@S3Ranj20 сағат бұрын
Not onto a S3 340mm disc. But, they are with the right disc, you can use the RSQ3, or TTRS disc. I’ve heard weirdly you can’t use the RS3 one. I’d suggest, the VBT 2psc floating disc, it’s plug and play with that disc set up. Straight swap.

Person opinion... Not a fan of pops and bang map. Keep it authentic
@S3RanjКүн бұрын
@@sarfrazcarrim9355 I’m the same. They’ve not been mapped in, they’re just the stock ones amplified. You’ll know the stock S3 has them. As you begin to alter the exhaust I.e. res delete, those pops become louder, and can result in bangs. Just a result of better flow. I will say, I don’t mind occasional let off. But, it’s not there all the time, only when the meth is introduced really.

Hi. Great video and great product. Personally, I would have liked more detail about the installation process, which wires go where etc. I understand this is very tough to film on your own so maybe it would be a good idea to get someone to help with the filming so you can do that. You are a confident presenter and your enthusiasm and personal opinions about the product are good but before you start filming, I think you need to ask yourself two really important questions 1. Who is going to watch this and 2, what do they want to get from it. I am a bog standard viewer who wants to install this screen in my car. Basically, I want to know how to do it and any tips that you may have to help me in order to save me the hassle, cost and swearing of making the mistakes myself. So, for example, instead of using the speeded up video technique, I would have liked you to say, “there’s a packet of wires here which looks pretty scary but don’t be frightened, here’s a rough idea of what each one does and where it goes etc”. That way, you are enabling the viewer to achieve something out of their comfort zone, giving them confidence with sharing some of the mistakes you have made. They will mentally thank you for that, subscribe and share your video. Whatever videos you make in the future, always think about your viewer and put them first. For example, for me, the one thing I take away from this video is that you lost two screws down the dash board when fitting the holder and, knowing that, I can now take measures to ensure that doesn’t happen during my installation so, thank you. That is the reason I have subscribed. I hope you don’t mind my feedback but I am just being honest and it is just my opinion. I wish you all the best with your car projects and thanks for taking the time and effort to make these videos. All the best for 2025 and keep up the good work!

I appreciate that very comprehensive feedback, Andy. I'll be taking what you have said on board. I feel the exact same as you do, when I'm stuck, or when it's something new, I also revert to KZbin in hope to find the answer, but an answer which is clear and goes into the detail which is often missed on instruction manuals. I actually try to film everything I do. At first, I was like, oh people want to see the highlights, but in fact, with most of my videos, especially the intercooler install I did, that was a very intricate install process, and I couldn't find anyone on KZbin who told you things you could do only know upon doing it yourself. Going forward, I'll be sure, for my install videos, to make them more detailed, as most don't know every thing, and that's what you need when watching a DIY, or tutorial type video. Happy New Year, and thank you for subscribing. I'm moving onto something new (car wise), and I hope you stick around!
