Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

One hundred pink Cadillacs attended Aretha's funeral procession💝 She performed at the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Carole King, and even though she was suffering from cancer, the Queen put on a phenomenal performance of **Natural Woman**

The late great Clarence Clemons from Springsteen's E-Street band on saxophone. Killer sax solos, awesome vocals from the Queen herself, and a great song-period!! RIP Aretha and Clarence.

Now check out Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves, her duet with Annie Lennox. She also did a duet with George Michael - I knew You Were Waiting For Me - around this same period in her career - her disco phase. Her appearance in The Blues Brothers movie renewed interest in her and her music, and launched a comeback in music of the time.

You have just hit the mother lode of singers with Aretha Franklin (Queen Of Soul). This lady started out singing gospel music, then R&B, but could do many genres. She had so many hits especially in the 60's-70's including "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)", "Respect", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman", "Chain of Fools", "Think", "I Say A Little Prayer" etc.

This was done during the heyday of MTV's 24/7 music video format with live "VJs" and there was a music video version of "Freeway" featuring Aretha driving a vintage pink Cadillac convertible.that was really fun to watch. Have you heard her signature song "Respect" yet? How about her cover of Carole King's "Natural Woman"? Hell, she could sing names from the phone book and sound soulful!

This is classic Aretha - the Queen of Soul (Steely Dan's HEY NINETEEN reference). In a similar vein, try Tom Cochrane's LIFE IS A HIGHWAY (1991) and covered by Rascal Flatts. Also, suggest AT LAST! title track from Etta James' debut album, and THE FIRST TIME EVER I SAW YOUR FACE from the 1969 album of Roberta Flack titled First Take.
