Aretha Franklin, I WIll Survive/Survivor, Rollin In The Deep/Ain't No Mountain, June 20, 2015

I was trying to hold back on this, but, this was too good not to share. Aretha Franklin, "The Queen of Soul, did her thing with a mashup of "I Will Survive/Survivor and 'Rollin' In the Deep/Ain't No Mountain High Enough.', live at Caesars, Atlantic City, NJ, June 20, 2015. The crowd loved it. Big ups to the backup singers, the tambourine player and the band. If I went to no other concert this year, I had to go see Aretha.

There are certain songs I actually prefer her to sing to a recorded track, like A Rose Is Still A Rose and A Deeper Love. Even though she hasn't sung those songs in years and probably never will again. But there are those ones that MUST, SHOULD AND ALWAYS be sung with a LIVE BAND backing her. When she sang Rolling In The Deep on David Letterman was perfect. And you can tell she was really into the band playing it live. Unless she has them play it live again I don't think there will be another great performance of Rolling In The Deep from her. Also Aretha always fall apart when she sings to a recorded track. She's always forgetting the words or messing up the lyrics / or singing certain lyrics to soon. She's always off track from the track. Personally I think if Aretha is going to cover other artists songs then she needs to get it together. Give the music the same R-E-S-P-E-C-T that other artist would give her music when singing it. Not haten just stating the facts.

SHE GAVE YOU ROLLING IN THE DEEP ON THE TODAY SHOW. LEFT FOOT WENT OUT THERE, ARETHA TURNED AROUND. SPOKE HIGHLY OF CLIVE DAVIS, BERRY GORDY, THERE'S CARSON DALY....DAVID LETTERMAN PERFORMANCE WAS AWESOME!.

Im glad the audience isnt laughing at her, like they did when she sung "Touch my body " that song wasn't for her i understand she liked it she should have sung it on her C D not live ,

Her I Will Survive was not good at all! Part was mumbling. Her Rolling in The Deep was the best she ever sung it!
