Absolutely. Modric is more dynamic and well-rounded than Xavi and Iniesta never adapted to post-gegenpressing world and buggered off to Japan even though he's only a year older. They're all great but Modric, Kroos, Di Maria, Ozil, Messi post-X/I, their per-90 CL stats are comfortably superior but people are wedded to this notion that Xavi/Iniesta were nonpareil - either Barca fans who favour Barca players instinctually over Madrid, or Ronaldo stans who want to say that Messi was carried.
