They are plaster replicas of the real fossils
@CRAZYWILDMAN497 жыл бұрын
even counting out the argentino.....the sheer size of the gigano....imagine them in flocks of 20-30 of them. swarming a sick argentino at the back of a herd. frightening to say the least.
@CRAZYWILDMAN497 жыл бұрын
new gigano jawbone was found btw. proves that they grew bigger than the original holotype. www.scified.com/topic/44773

Jessica Gaitan these sauropod dinosaurs were over 120 ft long, and possibly weighed over 150 Tons, making them the biggest animals to ever walk the earth!
@svenheuseveldt71886 жыл бұрын
thats not totally accurate. thier bones where very hollow and didn't weighs as much deu to the airholes in them, this greatly reduced thier size, and these bones where just as strong as denser bones just a lot lighter, no sauropod reached over 100 tons, argentinosaurus likely was around 70 tons, but its nothing compared to a bleu whale, the largest arganism that ever lived weighing 150 tons

The legs, backbones, ribs and pelvis are casts of the real thing. The head, neck, feet and tail are guesswork based off other Titanosaurs that have a complete skeletons.

This argentinosaurus skeleton looks larger and more massive than the new field museum patagotitan "(their) world largest dinosaur"
@cadebeek31112 жыл бұрын
Idk about that I’ve seen the patagotitan in person and they had to mount it with its legs in a bent over position cause the back vertebrae was literally like an inch or two from the steel beams on the ceiling and it’s head has to poke out of the exhibit cause it was so long.

@sonbuhitsunei Puertasaurus and Bruhathkayosaurus were certaintly heavier, only fragmentary remains have been discovered but they indicate larger dinosaurs. Puertasauus has the widest dorsal vetebrae even and Bruhathkayosaurs has a 30% longer leg! Ampheolias F. has an estimate of 122 tonnes but much more if it was a particularly fat individual. So Argentinosaurus is probably the 4th biggest as far as we know i mean the Argentinosaurus discovered could be below average in size we just don't know.
@TITANSofTheEARTH6 жыл бұрын
SuperMagnum83 Ampheolias F. is a fantasy product of the bone war... There are side by side pictures of the titanosaurs vetebrae... one is wider the other one is much higher... so whatever. All of them where fucking big.

Are those ACTUAL dinosaur bones? Wow!

breighisnotinteresting , no, replicas.

I know this is a very old comment, but no they aren't. In fact we don't even know for certain if they really looked like this, but we try to get an idea of what they looked like based off other sauropods.

@hanxopx maybe not true diplodocus vallorum (formerly seismosaurus)could have been bigger but not enough evidence has been found.
@dicearibal16404 жыл бұрын
It's diplodocus HALLORUM! NOT VALLORUM!

@SuperMagnum8314 жыл бұрын
how can there be a skeleton when only 13 bones were found

No wonder Noah didn't take it to the ark with him.
@joethekinghawk75147 жыл бұрын
Ron Levie , he didn't have to, he probably brought baby or juvenile representative (plus Noah walked with God, and he was 600 years of age), I'm tired of the Darwinist materialistic worldview.
