@@hassantech1862 They ask questions on the basis of your profile & the information that you have shared in your DS-160. They primarily check the reason for your visit, the location & the length of your stay. Then they will check about who is sponsoring your trip & what is your annual income plus they will also check about your ties back to your home to ascertain that you will come back at the end of your trip. If you can provide satisfactory responses to all of these questions in a concise manner then your B1/B2 visa will be approved. I hope this was helpful.

I am from Bangladesh . I have given always specific answer to my VO . And not short answer of question. I have experienced 4 times interview at US Embassy in Bangladesh with full family since 1999 . Recently approved on April 2024 . Every time visa is approved for my specific , detailed answer on my physical interview . Some times I applied for Dropbox , that time no interview. Visa is approved. But in 1992 , 1993 visa is denied.

@agrosocial please does the school send a copy of your 1-20 to the embassy when you are going for interview ?? If not how would the VO get to know that you have full scholarship, would he/he got to know of it through the I-20 you present to him/her the day of your interview or the school will send him/her a copy of your I-20 ??

Dear argo team, my H2B visa waiver application was approved in the system on April 29. However, since then it hasn’t been changed to issuance. I haven’t been contacted for additional documents, or for a need of interview. When I called then they said something like ‘they were still working on the case’. I have a question kindly answer my father and uncle are my sponsors its also written on the remarks section of my i20 but on ds 160 you can only tell about 1 sponsor so i choose my father .so in my visa interview should i say my fathe is my sponsor or my father and uncle both are my sponsers in visa interview

I just left the embassy and got a 214b refusal out of the question: "what is the purpose of your trip?" for those who intend to visit their loved ones who are American citizens be prepared to tell the story of your loved one (how he managed to become an American citizen and with what visa he first returned to the USA). I was denied for my b1/b2 visa on May 10th. The reason is I couldn't answer to officer's last question which was: What are you gonna do in this conference ? She even asked me twice the same question also asked for my invitation letter. What are my chances should I reapply again and when(I want to reapply in June) or I will be denied again ?
