Great bike! I've been able to get 54 miles and 7,200' of elevation on one charge.

Weight is definitely a concern. My Scalpel is 32lbs and my Rail is 49lbs. I made the mistake of forgetting that I had an SKS rack temporarily installed on my Rail and had a rim-ending strike because I was riding it like it was the Scalpel and *did not* clear the gap between the sidewalk and curb. The rack is gone now (was temporary) and I think practice will help to overcome the weight penalty when trying to huck the pig :D

Do you think the suspension or saddle helps more with the diaper butt feel lol?

Hi April looking good.

It would help if you mentioned both pounds and kilos. Smaller batteries make for lighter e-bikes but you don't get far in turbo climbing.
@AprilRideMTB29 күн бұрын
Sorry I usually try to list or say both ways when I remember, you can see I did for how long the battery lasts. Also for any bike it’s not ideal to leave it in turbo if you want the battery to last long. The main type of riding I do is at the park as mentioned, so I don’t get worried about being stranded and can leave it in my boost mode the whole time.

I’ve been interested in this bike, but how is it for service when there is a problem? I just feel like with a brand where you have a local bike shop that sells it you can have repairs, etc.. taken care of easier.
@AprilRideMTBАй бұрын
I think any bike shop should be able to help you for service and if it was a concern on having a problem with the motor, then I would find a shop that also has a brand that uses the FAZUA motor. ARI has great customer service too if there was something that they would need to warranty.

Hi April, this bike has been on my short list for a while now. Have you had any issues with the motor or ring controller? I've heard many stories of issues with those components and have experienced them on a rental Pivot Shuttle SL that has the same motor/controller. Thanks!
@AprilRideMTB29 күн бұрын
Hi, like I mentioned I haven’t had any problems with it and haven’t heard of any from my friends. Unrelated to this bike, motor or ARI, I have in the past had a bad experience with a rental/demo bike, because they weren’t able to keep up with the maintenance and it was a bit hammered due to the nature of being a “rental”, hopefully that was just the case for you. The ring does seem fragile though and I would be cautious to put my bike upside down on the ground for some parking lot maintenance.

Acoustic? Come on. Analoge is ok, but acoustic is just goofy. My Delano hates being called acoustic. That said, great review. Now you need to get their e-fatt, the Explorer Peak. What a fun bike. I'm just waiting for snow. Gotta love Ari.

Ari? Are you kidding me? Ugly bikes…
@AprilRideMTB29 күн бұрын
I see no difference in either word as far as being goofy haha
@russelldurtschi28 күн бұрын
@@AprilRideMTB Yeah, well, you're right, they are both goofy. But, the word acoustic is related to sound or hearing but analog at least refers to mechanical mechanisms. They are both poor choices to use when talking about a non-electric bike.

April Eagle Bike Park is where I ride and have seen you on occasion. I ride a Specialized Turbo Levo Expert and like you I love it since I can go and go and go. Great video and you still are very beautiful and a cute butt, no disrespect.
