1:54 "...it [Oct 7th 2023] ended a 50 year golden era of Israeli relative security" A golden era for an apartheid state which illegally occupied land and oppressed local peoples. How about condemning that?

After WWII, the Western Allies committed to a policy of Denazification and the Marshall Plan to effectively inoculate the German host from suffering a remission of Fascism. Today’s guest in his call for installing moderate-Islamic theology and multi-national investments to rebuild Palestinian infrastructure echoes what was achieved in remedying the very worst ideologies from Germany and similarly in Imperial Japan.

Deterrence doesn't work if you punish the other party unconditionally. Israel expanded settlements even after the PA chose peace, so what incentive was there for Palestinians to remain peaceful?

This should become part of the mainstream media. Understanding and telling this story is very needed to form a breaker against antisemitic sentiment in Western nations. We also need to see how Iran, China, and Russia are involved. IC is trying to persacute instead of support Israel.

“We’re an oasis of liberty in the region”. Half of your population that is Palestinian would disagree with you.

Why say the Palestinian "issue". Why not say the Palestinians problem or the Palestinian question? The Israeli question can't even pretend Palestinians are human beings or should have self-determination in their own country. No Palestinians were available for the podcast?

It seems to me when anyone uses the word 'the occupation' in the Israeli-Palestine context they need to define it (even Ari just uses it as if its meaning is obvious) - because for some, although not me, Israel itself is an occupation- , it is really not obvious that, here, it specifically means occupation of land taken in the 67 war (west bank, gaza^(? *yes I know it was deoccupied)) You just need to watch some of the videos from Corey Gil-Shuster's Ask Project to see how' undefined' this word has become as regards israel.
