I ordered mine from Germany (I live in France) and received it last week. Shipping took a bit more than a week. It was double carton packaged. I was a bit worried when I found the interior carton had an impact hole the size of my little finger. Fortunately, there was no issues on the guitar. Whatever punched the hole didn't reach the the guitar. The finish is very good; I didn't find any blemishes or defaults in the finish. The fingerboard has some grain split in the upper frets but this doesn't modify play-ability. The sound combinations of a single coil & a Humbucker are great. Because of the scale length, playing on the first 5 frets can require some work to get the stretch, but up above the 7th fret it's much easier for me (big fingers) than on my TeleCaster. I am very happy with my purchase.

At around the 13:00 mark he says he'll be playing around C# on the second fret on the 6th string so it means it is tuned B E A D F# B. On this scale length people usually tune as a Bass VI (E to e but an octave lower) with 0.82 strings, so i guess with a 0.56 or 0.60 you could pull off that tuning
