+Normadic David lmao first of all, John Legend also did long runs. Why don't you say anything about that? Second, her vibrato fit beautifully with the context of the song, which is a jazzy feel. Long =/= sloppy.

you are so right. it's just John legend is so forgettable and bland I forgot he existed. And lol you said vibrato but I was talking about runs. Which were UGLY and painful to listen to. Even more so than John. Who BUTCHERED the version Peabo Bryson made

I think it would have been foolish of Ariana and John to try and replicate the original song when Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson are still alive lol They were always going to do a pop version and their voices both just hit those runs. For me I didn’t think there was too many for the song.

Maybe it's just me but this did nothing for me. Don't get me wrong, the video is amazing but I felt like Ariana was singing the song just to sing the song. Someone I was chatting to said she wasn't really putting any emotion or feeling in to it. Also said that she was dressed up like a cupcake. They Said John Legend's voice was to soft/low. Said no singing beast would have a voice that soft. I don't know what to think.
