Baby one more time came out in 1999. So the “Y2K”, actually pre Y2K, was very original. I was 19 years old and could do the entire choreography (sans tumbling). EDIT: I know this video was about Britney, but I’d also like to include TLC as being a very influential 90s group (pre-y2k if that’s what you want to refer to it as. Although it’s just 90s style. But TLC took their style and made it art.
