There's a lot of butthurt Demi fans on here saying that Ariana just sang the demo to this song for Demi. Well she didn't, this was actually her song, which she received as a birthday present from Iyaz & even co-wrote. If she just sang the demo, she obviously wouldn't have been allowed to perform the song at events like this one. However, she and Iyaz later on decided to sell the song to Demi, because Demi needed something to complete her album. I love Demi, but those just are the facts & I honestly don't even see why people would be so butthurt about the fact that a song is not actually written by the person singing it or about the fact that it was someone elses first. Who cares? That doesn't change anything about the song, nor the artist. Either way, I do prefer Ariana's version of this song, because she has such a wide vocal range & brings so much positive energy into the song with her beautiful voice & perfect high notes. I personally feel that she has a lot more control over her voice than Demi & hitting the notes is a lot easier for her. Ariana rarely ever sounds off key & it happens to Demi a lot. I really love both though, their voices are so different & they are both obviously very talented. (:

Ariana is just belting out the notes. It is beautiful. But in every song Demi performs, she just lets out this vibe... It fills you with emotion, makes you want to cry. She puts 100% of herself in all of her performances. That's why Demi ended up with the song on her album, because Ariana couldn't bring justice to the song the way Demi could.
