Hey Zach, this may be a little spoiler but the album and music video to “wait for your love” is based on my favorite movie “Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind” the movie is based on two characters named Clementine and Joel, they fall in love and the relationship ends after an array of moments both good and bad, after this breakup one of them goes and finds this place to get their memory erased and i forget who went first but both of them end up getting this procedure done and in the end they end up right back together with no recollection of their past. Kismit. a beautiful movie.

I used to be a huge fan of hers, but this album was truly underwhelming. I struggled to finish listening to everything... took me 3-4 days. I really can't wrap my head around people viewing this as her best album. The first half literally sound the same, and the lyrics just sound like an unrefined first draft/brainstorming session. The only song I remotely liked was "imperfect for you" probably because it sounds a bit like "drivers license" with less powerhouse vocals. Her best albums so far are definitely between Positions and TUN

@@jaxxn932 (SORRY THIS IS SO LONG 😭😭😭😭)when i first listened to it, what initially struck me was the instrumentals, because that is usually what makes me come back to a song most times. i loved the 90s r&b influence on the album, and how it felt like a blend of all her other albums. you had trap, pop r&b, which all pulled from various sounds of her old work. i cud definitely feel the yours truly vibes come in on bye and don’t wanna break up again. i also felt a bit of TUN when it came to the middle of the album, and the r&b rly gave me positions as well. i think she synthesized all of her best work and threw it in an album and i love that. moving on from the production, i feel the lyrics are also very mature and well written. through the album, she’s telling a story about her divorce and how she’s met another guy, but she tells it in such interesting ways, like in true story and the boy is mine. she’s playing into the media’s perspective on what happened and rly took back the narrative with those songs. i also love how vulnerable she was, because it can be hard for artists to do that and it feels like the artist is rly putting out not just music for us, but for them in a way. the album also starts on “how can i tell if im in the right relationship?” and then ends on Nonna answering it for her on the last track which is also rly cool that she does those little details. one more thing i wanna mention is the MELODIES of all the songs. she rly just knows how to craft a pop song that will catch your ear.
