Lastly may I say that you are helping and guiding Young women and men with two options to either get it the plastic surgery or not to get the plastic surgery and this is the first time in my life that anybody or any doctor has told me the advantages but more importantly the disadvantages of getting plastic surgery especially at a young age. The reason being that the younger you are💯 you will keep having to do it Time After Time After Time and eventually it will lead to damage. When I was growing up my parents always said if something isn't broken just leave it as it is. Once again thank you for sharing I greatly appreciate it the time and energy are taking out to educate the Young and the old . Regards to your wife and have a great day 😊💯😊🌺🌺🌺

Interesting, the phrase: "put it off until its needed... " Then it is, after that 1st surgery ( then truely) 'it is needed'. Truly needed after that 1st one is done. The requirements of, 'maintenance'. This Dr. is my guilty pleasure, his face is SO BEAUTIFUL, as a artist I am beguiled by it. I want to sculpt it. So interesting, so character filled. Sculpting someone, is more personally (intimate) than painting a portrait. Though, with portraits... there is still a sense, of being deeply being absorbed with your subject. Its so conflicting... he's an artist. He too sculpts. Its so personal to capture someone's likeness. Yet, in plastic surgery it is the 'capture of the subjects likeness', that is spirited away... My guilty pleasure... to look upon him. Testing myself 'not to imagine' sculpting that face in my mind. My guilty pleasure, while in my heart... I know any UNNECESSARY surgery is vandalism. So, my muse, is a vandal. So, my muse, removes the world of muses... I don't know about face lifts, but... maybe, I know about 'head trips'. My muse, commits vandalism... and, I am in conflict.

Yeah and essentially when she’s got such a young and impressionable fanbase. They will see her face change and think that is how aging works and be disappointed when their face doesn’t change and “glow up” as they get older and feel bad about themselves. When she says she’s got nothing done to her face they’ll believe that without questioning because obviously young fans want to believe their favorite celebs are honest. It doesn’t surprise me that so many young girls are self conscious when these “perfect” celebs are out here denying having surgeries and then sell products like for example skin care saying people can achieve the same look with that when in reality the only way to achieve that look would be surgery. I’ve seen many of Arianas fans say she’s changed her face through manifestation and I can just imagine how many fans might believe in that and then get disappointed when they realize their face won’t change like that through manifestation and then loose self esteem or get depressed because of feeling like they’re not good enough since they can’t manifest a face like that.

Perfect?... naw... Uncanny! Enjoy, your maturation, these people are destroying their human experience. Every expression floods the brain with certain chemistries. For instance, when a person smiles, after 20 minutes, it acts like a narcotic. Loosing that is beyond tragic... and, its SO much fun to watch, a face, change its composition with age. I thankfully still look fairly young, (people usually think i'm in my early to mid 20s), but as these procedures become more normalized, it feels like women are being expected to look like flawless teenage goddesses well into their 30s and 40s! The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body... The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body... The right side of the brain is creative. The left side of the brain is analytical. Harmonious Features? Harmony, comes from the inside. And, our faces are not for us. They are for, telegraphing communication to a populous. unless, the argument, for it being ('our face') is a physiological one... because, 'expressions' flood the brain with chemicals... so in that way our faces are for us. not sure whats left, of that, after surgery, (and fillers and and frozen cast of a botox glance... ) but, according to physicians, after the first fall under the knife, more surgery is yet required, to come 'on the rise' (for maintenance). Unnecessary surgery, is The Trend, and the juggernaut of 'make up' and 'special lighting' by influencers, after words, to obscure, and continue to justify, the botched blotched abominations (this too is also the sin). Thoughts on: when people 'pay to loose their face', and no monetary wealth, can bring that 'priceless likeness' back again. It can't be put back in place. The too hard lesson, of taking something... so valuable... for granted. Our faces are not for us. Back in the day, (here's a generation comparison): Girls didn't own a mirror, until they were 16. It was a customary gift, sort of a rite of passage. But, before then, to own a mirror, was not expected as 'a given' reality (&it was a very expensive gift). I, myself, didn't know what I looked like (in great detail) until I was over 5 foot tall. So, its perhaps generational. But... that doesn't mean, the generation of the past, were 'wrong'. [edited for more clarity] I find it REALLY interesting how people who alter their looks surgically will look in their 40s & 50s (scar tissue build-up + natural changes). I'm not sure if celebrities take into consideration that beauty trends change over time, and transforming your body features according to those trends is temporary in principle. Trends over the integrity of one's own body - that is genuinely fascinating.

Without seeing pictures chronologically it would be hard for me to pick out what exactly was done (except lip fillers- that's just kind of a given), especially because there's so much hair and makeup on top of it, but seeing it like this it's kind of obvious. If nothing else people have to be able to recognize that's a very different nose than the one she started with. I'm worried that younger people will look at her current pictures and think you should be able to achieve that type of look with contour and eyeliner, and then feel bad that they can't.

I'm 31 and aside from a growth removal, haven't had any work done for fear of it not turning out right. But I'm seeing a lot of people starting cosmetic procedures (mainly facial fillers and teeth veneers) as early as their teens. I do feel this is very much influenced by social media and celebrity culture, which of course doesn't discuss potential risks or botched work. I'd like to suggestion for you to expand your point into a whole video. I feel that could be very, very helpful to young people considering cosmetic procedures to understand the short and long-term risks. That goes for both surgical and nonsurgical procedures, as fillers are often touted as a "safer" option to going under the knife.

You also mentioned how thin she is and it makes me wonder what kind of mental health problems she’s facing. Being a celebrity, especially a child celebrity, is so damaging. Be kind to yourselves! That being said, I will be getting cosmetic work done as I age if I can afford it. Probably not in my 20s though.
@EMichaelBall2 жыл бұрын
If your avatar is of your face, I would be very minimalistic at most with the surgery. Definitely not a nose job, because of multiple, often undiscussed risks like too little anesthesia being used during surgery, and the potential for getting a painkiller addiction during recovery. You might consider a facial exercising mask and some conductivity gel (plus rubbing alcohol to remove gel residue from your face). The gel is applied to the mask’s electrodes, which you then apply to your face. The mask uses electro stimulation to invoke mild muscle twitches in the face and upper neck. Run it 15-30 minutes per day. This will increase blood flow to your facial muscles (the exact opposite of Botox), keeping skin more rejuvenated with continued use. Plus, there’s no surgery or expensive maintenance involved. As an aside, the facial exercises can tuck in the jowls, sharpening the jawline and cheekbones.

At 26 she (on my opinion) reached the highest beauty and in the coming years the surgeries only became unecessary there's no turning back tho, if she notices that and tries to fix it won't be the same, unfortunately the coming surgeries she'll try to get will more likely take her beauty away more than help her kind sad.

No one should be criticized or even shamed for plastic surgery. If someone feels they need to, if it is on their own accord, perfectly fine. It is no one else's business. I however have an issue with people, specifically celebrities/influencers who lie about it, deny anything was done, thus setting totally unrealistic standards for their young, impressionable followers. In addition to that celebrities often monetize their unnatural beauty and sell cosmetics, diets and what not to their followers, who often believe they can attain some of that beauty when it is in reality only attainable by plastic surgery and tons of money. That's insidious.

I'm not making a judgement call on her for this, but one thing I keep thinking during these videos is the major difference in those who have a lot of money and the rest of us. We're all insecure about things to do with our face and body. Myself, I don't like my jawline or my eyelids, but I really hated my nose. I saved for a long time to be able to afford my rhinoplasty, and while my nose isn't perfect, the issues I had with it have been substantially improved, enough that I'm very happy. I spent, including travel and a hotel bill, about $8,000. I saved for 3 years for that. I will never have the sort of money to run out and fix every little thing about my appearance that bothers me. I worked very hard for one change, and it has made a huge difference for me. But I'm glad I can't afford all the rest, and neither can most of us. It puts the breaks on all that, and even if you do go under the knife, you chose 1, maybe 2, things that really matter to you and learn to live with andaybe even love the rest But Ariana, and ESPECIALLY the Kardashians, have no such breaks. It's such a double whammy that, in an industry where so many feel pressure to be as perfect as possible, the money is there to do whatever you want, whenever. The warnings he gives about so many surgeries at such a young age made me think, many of us would run out and get this, that, and the other, but we can't afford it. These celebs, that natural break of this not being sustainable financially is missing.

I just can’t see that anything Ariana has done to her eyebrows has improved how they looked Originally. In the movie don’t look up there was a scene where the whole outer third of her eyebrows seemed stapled down and the inner third was really animated, one eyebrow was a lot higher than the other. Just looked really strange and it seemed to stand out more than anything else on her face. Bit of a cautionary tale

As a medical professional and a woman, I really appreciate your delivery. You explain your medical opinion factually without losing people who aren’t in the medical field. But more importantly, you aren’t endorsing plastic surgery in a way that feeds into what can be a very toxic industry.

I'd honestly say.. don't look at anyone online these days as an example of natural beauty. I mean instagram models, even tiktokers; not the average person. So many young people have at LEAST fillers on there now, it's actually alarming. People are growing up with such a warped sense of reality. I saw comments 5 years ago about a natural woman's aged, slightly wrinkled lips saying "ew, that's not how lips should look". It's scary and I'd rather live offline!

i'm really grateful that you made this video, i think Ariana especially is someone who everyone compares themselves to a lot seeing as she looks so flawless, it seems all so natural and effortless until you take into account the hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of surgeries, likely expensive skin treatments and also professionally done makeup, no one should ever have to suffer insecurity because their natural appearance doesn't match someone else's fabricated/hugely enhanced one

Fans deny her plastic surgery because when it comes to Ariana, it’s weird. She sometimes photoshops her ig post and in some pics her nose looks the same it did when she was a child etc. She looks different on the voice but in one clip where she had her classic pony she looked the same. It’s weird because you can defo argue both sides. Plus with her brows, it was never uneven, she’s said she does that out of nervousness when posing. It’s true because if you look at video of red carpets you can see her brows raise up and down compared to interviews.

I assumed she had some small things done like maybe lip filler or botox but I had no idea the extent of her changed appearance. I had seen that youngest picture of her that was shown and then I’ve obviously seen what she looks like as an adult but I had never seen any photos of her in those in-between years (17-19). If you had asked me who that was in those pictures, I would have never guessed it was Ariana Grande. She’s completely unrecognizable!

She has evidence of a blepharoplasty as far back as 2011 (pay close attention to the increased TPS compared to 2010). She also has evidence of a browlift as early as 2012. Both brows are elevated slightly compared to natural brows in 2011. The asymmetry with the L eyebrow can be observed here as well. Otherwise, spot on analysis.

Dr, do you think someone getting a lot of procedures so young, could negatively impact their skin as they age?
@mzp_honey2 жыл бұрын
Videos like this are key to helping people, esp the young and more impressionable understand that these procedures are being done to produce the images that they’re seeing being praised and applauded. If it weren’t for the celeb’s career and financial status, they wouldn’t even look like the version of themselves that we all see, they would look more “average” and have imperfections just like most people do. I’m someone who treasures those imperfections in people because they show character and make that person unique. And notice I said the celebrity would look more average, but not any less beautiful, because average= natural=beauty. Not saying that a person who has surgery does not look beautiful as well, but I feel in this day & age people equate plastic surgery results as more beautiful than natural non-enhanced beauty and that just should not be the case.

I feel it's sad that you felt the need to get plastic surgery at such a young age. She was perfectly beautiful as she was, She would have grown older beautifully and naturally. I really don't see a need for her to have had any need for plastic surgery at this point in her life. Hopefully, she won't end up looking like a cat at the end of her life.
@TheSwauzz2 жыл бұрын
Her natural look would not have perpetuated her to global star status, believe it or not, and that's what she wanted. It's all well and good to look back and think "why would she do that?", but her industry is pretty cutthroat when it comes to making it real big and at the end of the day, perhaps this is what she always dreamed of looking like? Without knowing her personally, it's best that we just not judge and accept her at face value; not matter what face she's wearing.

I’ve been a subscriber since 10k subs. I’m so excited that your channel is growing & that you’re exposing the hard truths of celebrity plastic surgery culture. So many people compare themselves to these people that have access to the best doctors & money. Ariana looked adorable without surgery. It’s sad that she felt compelled to get a brow lift and/or a facelift at her age!🤦♀️ I had a brow lift at age 38 because of premature aging + my eyelids were heavy. Anyways, she looks adorable.

thank you for making this, it's nice to have an actual plastic surgeon's take on her procedures since so many people don't think she's had any work done, ever. i am a huge ariana fan but personally i wish she had never gotten the facelift, it aged her and you are right that it will likely only lead to more surgeries down the road as she ages. i think she had this done late 2020/early 2021. i also think she has had more than 2 rhinoplasties, i think at least 3 with a first revision much earlier than you said. what do you think?

They deny the surgeries because they are literally in the business of illusions. I think she was pretty before surgeries and pretty after. I don’t really understand her reasons for all the changes because there was never anything wrong with her appearance. I think it’s ok to change yourself no matter who you are and in no way should anyone feel like they have to publicly comment on any procedures whether you’re famous or not. It’s still personal, medical information that doesn’t belong to the public. I don’t think it’s odd really to not want to discuss everything going on with our bodies and our self image and just because they are stars or famous doesn’t mean they have to be self revealing.
@indysmalls29182 жыл бұрын
I disagree with you there’s absolutely nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery but when you’re lying about it and trying to look like something you’re not you’re just brainwashing your fans
@Bogotaeverything Жыл бұрын
I understand that plastic surgery is private medical information but these people are public personas who are very influential on the very gullible young audience. And it is not nice that they publicly lie about it, Bella Hadid once said that she had a nose job at 14 and that she regrets no longer having the nose of her ancestors. Yeah, right. She has had at least 2 more revisions to refine her nose as an adult. It is the hypocrisy that bothers me. But on the other hand, if they admit to all their surgeries, there is a risk of young people thinking that a natural look is wrong and that we should all get plastic surgery because Kylie and Ariana do it. Or that we all should like JLo in our 50s.

I know how you feel, grew up in the '80s and '90s when most everyone was giving Michael Jackson the side eye for going overboard with his procedures. Didn't imagine it would become common practice even for people under 30. The thing is, I don't think it's meant to look natural. It's meant to look a certain way, which is considered the apex of beauty, even though it's far from natural. Natural isn't the standard any longer.
