And she did that while her voice was damaged. If Ari has her full energy I can totally see her going up to the 8th octave

And people say her whistles from Emotions were faked. If she's whistling like this now, imagine what she could have done 11 years ago when her voice was higher.
@redacted-oo7ne Жыл бұрын
it’s just as high now she just knows it isn’t smart to sing that high anymore she’s much more conscious about healthy technique than when she debuted and every song / performance was high notes
@newyearsevemariah9314 Жыл бұрын
@@redacted-oo7neHer voice has lowered be fr. Back in the day she was sitting on G#5 and giving over 100 Bb5’s per tour. And she was weighty at that. Now her voice is so much lighter and she’s scared to even go above F now

@@johnbttsomebody clearly did not witness breathin from the sweetner world tour, not only did she sustain multiple Bb5's but the notes after that were still extremely high sounding like she was just talking, a tessitura as high as hers does not simply drop that jurastically in a few years
@eternallymeowin Жыл бұрын
@@newyearsevemariah9314she literally gave us 8 G5s in her 2021 performance for respect which is one her more recent performances 😭 don’t forget Ariana gave us tons of bb5s in breathin for the swt as well

Good to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with whistle notes! She herself is still grasping her effect, or was, and it just makes me happy because she's been practicing for years and she's still developing her whistle notes.

i love her whistles but she shouldn't push it imo... much rather to have clear and healthy 6th octave whistles than to push those thin 7th octave ones

She sounds pushy, tired and strained here. That's why she lacks freedom and ease up there. Glad that she realized it though, and she stoped. .
@h.f6364 Жыл бұрын
you literally cant strain a whistle note. shes doesnt sound "tired" or "pushy", this is just a polyphonic whistle which is decently common up there however difficult to control

@@h.f6364 You are so wrong my friend. I'm a whistler and yes, there are countless times when l push myself to the point where it almost hurts, due to fatigue, lack of vocal rest, cold or hot air, etc...
