The pop superstar sat down with "GMA" more than one year after the attack at Manchester Arena and explains that the love from her fans pushed her quick return to the stage.

Stop criticising her for feeling traumatised, she has guilt, guilt that that all these poor people died because they were there to see her. PTSD is a real thing and I hope she can get the help she needs. She comes across as a genuinely lovely girl.

I came back because I remember how hurt I was to hear about this, this attack was far deadlier than Astroworld though. And the way Ariana handled it surprises me. She went right back up and committed her life to those 22 people who lost their lives, and while Ariana has or had suffered from PTSD, I don’t even know if Travis Scott is going through the same thing, he isn’t open and he isn’t telling us what really happened. This situation is far harder to come across why he would not stop any earlier, but at the same time, the producers didn’t do a single thing to help and probably didn’t even tell Travis what was going on so he was probably left confused. Either way, Travis didn’t explain anything to us so how are we supposed handle this? 8 peoples lives were lost and all he can say is a few words in a one minute video. I really hope this teaches him to stop influencing dangerous acts in his concerts. Ariana is such an Angel and would never do something like that. The people that still accuse Ariana to this day are going to hell. Travis Scott didn’t do enough to help as he had the opportunity to but chose not to. Ariana was almost attacked in a bombing and there was NOTHING she could of done to prevent it. Two very different scenarios. But I am thinking about those 30 people who’s lives were lost. And their families are always gonna be in my prayers 💔

It’s nearly 3 years now, i still remember the day i heard about this. i was sobbing in my room, i was 10. it was so scary that something like this could happen. look at us now, I’m only 13 years old and things like shootings and terrorist attacks and regular. we have to grow up with the fear of going anywhere, even just school. and sadly eventually that fear goes away and it’s just our norm. what a horrible world we live in, kids should be worrying about if their mom will buy them that toy they want, not being SHOT when going to school. and look at the people running our country. all the pro life all life matter, they want to take away a women’s choice because it “kills” a baby, when thousands of people die from shootings. get your f-ing priorities straight:

Stop giving her shit for also being traumatized. No one is saying the survivors aren’t important, hell they’ve been interviewed way before and clearly show signs of PTSD. But you also have to remember Ariana is probably bearing so much guilt and weight for her feeling almost responsible for the deaths that had occurred. She seemed on the edge of dropping music for a while so chill. While I’m not saying she’s more damaged than those who’ve died or witnessed the deaths, she still may be traumatized by it and does not need berating by people for it.
