Because they aren't her song and her style...I bet only original artist can slay their songs... yessss covers can be good But we can't expect them to sound same... and I think other artists can't slay Ariana's songs too... original is always original...if Ariana can't do better than Whitney, Beyonce and Adele in their songs then I'm pretty sure they can't do better Ariana's songs too

I love Ariana Grande, but some of these weren't for her. She can sing them, but her voice can't match the emotions needed to make the song really pop.

all these recent comments just tearing ariana down aren’t even taking in consideration most of these covers were preforming literally years ago, before ariana developed the vocal technique she has now. additionally most of the covers were recorded on low quality sound devices and in my experience, coming from someone who’s vocal range and tone and incredibly similar to ariana’s, low quality recording device absolutely butcher my voice and make me sound more nasal than i really sound. and finally, just because someone makes a cover that doesn’t sound exactly like they original, doesn’t mean it isn’t good in its own right :) we don’t have to pit women against each other in the comments! all the vocalists mentioned in this video are great vocalists.

I would LOVE TO SEE HER DO ALL THESE TODAY, 2019, 2020.....SHE WOULD KNOCK IT OUT OF PARK (imo, she already has) AND BEYOND. Just a cover if all artists allowed and got some royalty or for charity.....it would be $$$$$
