I went through a really hard time in my life where a lot of things happened at once, and I felt awful and humiliated and broken and full of grief. For a while after that, I cried very easily. Not like “I’m so sad, feel bad for me,” but was just very vulnerable and would tear up when talking about anything sentimental/happy/sad. It was like I was so full of emotion inside, that it would just spill out even though it would be totally random topics and I wasn’t talking about anything I went through. Not sure about Cynthia, but I get Ariana.
@fluffyclouds555Күн бұрын
Same. I had a period of the same kind of heightened emotion. I decided I would try therapy and I cried buckets of tears and felt like an open wound. Let’s not forget Ari experienced Manchester, Mac miller’s death, a divorce, a media storm of hate, and now is fulfilling a childhood dream. It’s a lot to process. When you experience such highs & lows, and you’re already a vulnerable person who wears their heart on their sleeve, tears come very easily. I get her too.
@alicetoyou44819 сағат бұрын
@@fluffyclouds555 Exactly. I think a lot of people forget about Manchester and Mac because she kept performing and putting out music during that time, but those two events alone would take years to “recover” from (or at least learn to live with). Honestly people really need to stop over analyzing and criticizing to this extend, some people have the ability to feel deeply than others. There is a video of Ariana back in 2019 saying this is her dream role and holding her tears back just by thinking about it. It has nothing to do with trying to promote the movie, the movie already has a big audience as it is. People don’t know what goes on behind close doors, even as actors getting to see the whole movie come together and closing that chapter must be emotional, specially for her since it has been a life long achievement.

tbf, wicked has meant the world to ariana since literally FOREVER, i do NOT blame that girl for crying. OR cynthia, like getting the role as elphaba? girl i'd be crying every 2 seconds too bye.

I am a cheer coach. I got hit with severe medical issues last year while creating my team’s routine. And for a while every time I watched it, I would get emotional cuz of knowing what I went through WHILE making their routine. Any time I would just watch a practice video I would cry because there was multiple times I thought I would have to quit during the season but I made it through. I can only imagine it’s the same for them. Clearly they’ve gone through a lot and it means something to them whatever it is. I’m not a big fan of Ariana and Cynthia is new to me, but I empathize with finishing a project and being so proud I’m moved to tears every time I think about it.

5:44 the magic markers taped to the fingertips for Cynthia is so real 😭 she always slays the long nails though But in all seriousness, I feel like there’s a lot of things I have criticized Ariana for but this is not one of them, if anything I find it really relatable and endearing, her dreams are coming true and you can tell how grateful she is for this role
