It’s not in any capacity…it’s related to the video and it got your attention, not sure what else you want. Had the tittle been anything else might’ve never even clicked and left this message… two options: 1. Make a tittle that meets your standard and gets no views 2. They have catchy tittle that gets your attention allowing those like you to leave their comment. I think option two is the better choice…

SAME FOR ME! I haven't seen any of his movies, but love Ariana Grande. I clicked for her and stayed for him. I was completely captivated by his interview - the ending was incredibly powerful for me because I am going through exactly what he was describing - mistakes, stops and starts, not being enough, not being accepted or included... He is so inspiring! I say leave the title as is so that more people can hear his story and his message.

It just means one was born in a country in the region of Latam. We all have different races and backgrounds in here, including White, like your mother in law. Gisele Bündchen is White, Samuel Nascimento is Black, Eunice Baía is Native American, Valentina Zenere is White, Pyong Lee is East Asian… They’re all Latin American.

They’ll say “white Latino” or “afrolatino” etc. If they don’t mention any specific race and just say “Latino” it’s because they’re mixed with many races. Or because their race is irrelevant to the conversation.

@@yasma5460 it happened years ago. She wanted her show Fresh Off the Boat to be cancelled, but it got renewed and she tweeted about not being happy about it. At the time it was reported that she wanted to go do other movies instead. People thought she was ungrateful so they cancelled her. She came back later and wrote a book and said she almost ended her life because of it and she also said she was being harassed on the show.

John Chu and his family are treasures. His father runs Chef Chu’s Chinese restaurant in Sunnyvale, CA and my family and I have been going there since I was a kid. His brother, Larry, is incredibly kind. I was so excited when John was getting praised for Crazy Rich Asians and I’m even more excited for Wicked. John and his family are fantastic people ❤

I'm so glad you understand the point of a title. You're right - it is to draw the consumer's attention to the media. It should also be a good representation of the content of the video. The title passes the first and crashes and burns on the second. The title diminishes the content of the interview and covers something that takes up something like 10 seconds of total interview time. It's lazy and non-representative. Hence, hate the title love the interview. Not surprised at click-bait titles, just disappointed.

He won me over with Crazy Rich Asians. There were 3 distinct scenes that pulled me in. One in particular, made me feel like I was in the scene. I was completely present and absorbed in the moment. I rewatched that movie multiple times, cuz I loved the story and wanted to relive how he transported me in. It was magical. I know he'll do the same with Wicked. I can't wait to see it!

For those complaining about the title, the whole point is to title it something that will make people interested enough to click. I would more than likely NOT have clicked if it were titled anything else since I had no idea who this man was and now I’m very glad that I did. I’m sure there are other videos or articles more aptly titled to his career if you’re interested in searching those up. This one is surely serving its purpose in garnering views.

I had no idea Jon directed every movie that really captured my undivided attention! He really captures moments so beautifully. So talented. The title needs to be updated/reworked. I guess not many people would know whom he is, unfortunately that's not what everyone thinks about, including myself. It's definitely time for the directors & behind the scene staff to get a lot more praise for their work. Everyone only recognises the actors. Not many people think about those behind the camera. Jon M. Chu - I see you bro! Ima be looking out for more of your work in the future and shall be re-watching the movies you've made that I already know and love! Keep the vision going!
