That was a killer choreo from Val short but with so much strengh definitely just become one of my all time favorites of him, and Xochitl just shined with it, I mean not only did she dance like a pro but the way she makes you feel all kind of emotions! Just wow!!!

I agree with the judges on Ariana’s being elegant , traditional waltz with grace. I also agree with their feedback on Xochitl being sensational & on point with technique. Xochitl’s win was well deserved , imo

Ok, I agree with the judges. I did cry with Xochitl and Val's performance. Both couples did an elegant and classy Viennese Waltz and for me, this girls will be in the final two or final three. Their improvement is insane. Bravo!!!

@@mlchc9004 Well you can't do the same dancing to the first part of the music as you can to the second part. The tempos were COMPLETELY different. The second part was MUCH more exciting. I think it would be nice if it was made more fair to the couples.

They do sometimes, but DWTS has always prioritized live music covers instead; it's more of an homage to traditional ballroom. They used to have an orchestra in the earlier seasons, doing retro-esque "big band" takes on modern tracks. They have a more modern live band set-up now, that tries to emulate the original songs more.

I don't think Xochitl was better at all! She was a little melodramatic in her interpretation and did a lot of hair tossing, I don't know if that made the difference, because Ariana danced better for sure, and her performance skills are impeccable. Hmmm, that was not the right choice, imho!

Everyone saying that Ariana should’ve gotten it cause of more grace but to me there was barely any grace with her doing like 10 turns in 1 sequence. Xochitl and Val had way more content in it and I think that’s why they won choreography wise

Pasha is more into lifts & down on floor moves. Val OTH , challenges & showcases Xochitl @ her best & utter most . They are always a joy to watch
