"The wages of sin is death.." Do you have the free gift of God? Which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord? Sin corrupts, it destroys, it is pleasurable for a season but ends in death and destruction. The Bible says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We cannot earn heaven. Have you ever lied? Stolen? Used God's name in vain? Lusted? Dishonored your parents? These are some of God's ten commandments. We are guilty of breaking God's law, hell is where we would go to pay for these sins. But praise God! He has made a way for us! God sent His only Son Jesus, fully man and fully God, perfect and sinless, to die on the cross for your sin! Then He rose again the third day defeating death! We broke God's law, Jesus paid the fine! That's why He said, "It is finished." Right before He died! The debt has been paid! Now we must turn to Him in repentance and trust in Jesus! Turn from your own way that leads to destruction, and follow Jesus! He loves you more than anyone ever could, He will never leave you.

YOU REALLY need to check out Nora Jones sometimes! Easy to see what age group her producers are targeting; Wonder if any of them were voice coaches? If "crying" were her objective, she's try a two octave song such as a Roy Orbison, which requires both alto and soprano ranges my dear. For hearing a "woman" sing, go to Norah Jones, who doesn't need three useless keyboard backups; performs on her OWN piano? Love to have her overdub on a few of our new rap songs. This is " expression of emotions? What?" God forbid you're hearing is functioning working when Joe starts WW3 and drafts you siblings for greed and drama, really? Try Roy Orbison's " Crying Over You" sometime ? Oh, so that's how the word "Pa-pers" is pronounced! Thanks, now maybe it'll fit into our rhyme scheme better; Sure sounded like "Pamper" though; Seems Twiggy's double has finally arrived. Someone please tell those THREE keyboard players their parts could have been simulated by machines-They they could find more time to write more hits, instead of playing backup. Oh, Good, they didn't have to set fire to this stage and call the fire department----good staging-and no anachronisms appeared! @@raulalarcon3804 this song is definitely ab mac. She told us in other songs he'd not get in touch properly when in the studio. He told us aswell in songs. She came out badly after his dui. And I think she's referencing her one time public outburst with someone when she talks about nit being able to bite her tongue. And now she can't say anything. She sits in silence with the TRUTH about what happened between them. Which is likely that he couldn't sort himself out. He wanted freedom and they walked away. Every other time was likely so he could go on a bender in the studio so usually, he'd call her eventually. So she wait for him to decide he likes her. This is a grown up version of 'everytime'.

The way she's basically crying out the "I'll wait for your love" parts of the song, those are the cries of pain. 😭 Hoping that a loved one will come back to you, that they'll find the love they once had for you and come back, even though you know that maybe it's best if you're just alone but can't let go ("so for now, it's only me... and maybe that's all I need"). Maturity, poignancy and clarity - I don't think I've ever heard every word of an A G pop lyric before, but this was so legible, without becoming in any way stiff or mannered. Her riffs and runs were restrained and tasteful, and all the more effective for it. Her lower register has developed significantly, and sounds really comfortable and well balanced. I'm sure that her vocal training for Wicked has influenced her stylistic approach to her pop repertoire; but not to the extent of making her sound too theatrical - this is definitely a pop vocal . However, her delivery is simpler, clearer and. more elegant - and it's really working well for her. One of the best songs of her career.
