You finally did Phantom of the opera with Tarja and Marko. Man, I've waited a long time for this. You finally saw Tarja's true power and why so many people fell in love with her voice back then. As much as I love Floor and her voice, this is Tarja's song. And of course Markos, even if Henk did an outstanding job. Floor can't beat that. Before you do a concert with Tarja or Annette, I would first like to get reactions to a few of the songs from the respective concert. And the best Tarja concert for me is the end of an era concert, from which this reaction is based. Look at the playlist and pick a few songs, as always every song is a banger. A personal wish would be Creek Mary's blood. Beautiful song with a special guest as co-singer and more. I love your videos.

YES, finally reviewing the best ever performance for the Phantom! All NW/Floor versions of the Phantom of the Opera are great, but this version (one of the last performances of Tarja with NW) is the very best of all (imho).

Good idea to do a whole show devoted to different versions of Phantom of the Opera. And then you should also do some more recent versions by Tarja and Marco, such as the one that they did recently in Switzerland!

That was the cell phone video. The one in August better without him there screaming. That was filmed in a castle in Finland This was the 18 years ago referenced. And Tarja is singing through a head cold. What a trouper. Last night of the world tour for ONCE (2004) at the time called ONCE upon a tour. End of an Era (hers) was the title of the DVD/Album this was recorded for and put out June 2006.

This is the version of Phantom that resonates most with me. Marko and Tarja have such distinctive voices that you would never think that they would blend. Yet, they do, beautifully. Don't forget that Marko has a whole body of work outside of Nightwish that is well worth a listen. I would suggest that you start with the song "Tides". Do the live version from Undead indeed. And, you have several great songs from Marko's 2020 solo album Pyre of the Black Heart. I couldn't find "Voice of my Father" on your Nightwish playlist so I am not quite sure if you have looked at that or not. Two other wonderful songs from that album are "Stones" and "Dead God's Son."

This is how i was introduced to NW decades ago. My favorite version of all. I had lost track of them shortly after. I rediscovered NW with Floor GLS reaction last year. Im still addicted them. Every song, concert, and singer makes me happy. 😊

You're all Phantomed out Daniel 😂! Like you and many reactors, I was introduced to Floor as lead singer of NW so am probably a little biased but Marko and Tarja are sublime here - unmatched imho! This concert was extraordinarily special given the surroundings circumstances. High Hopes came from this gig as did others such as 'Slaying the Dreamer' and Marko's scream at the end is just primeval - definitely getting rid of a lot of anger and pent up frustration. I know it's was included at the Buenos Aires gig - but please put it on your Tarja list. Also an old Nightwish favourite that they stopped doing - 'Wishmaster' also from End of an Era ! Sorry, I know I write too much!😅 Take care

Love it. You have to see 'Walking in the Air' Live version. Pre Marko! So many reactors miss this classic from the legendary 'The Snowman' animation. It's just amazing. Also, Halloween is coming!!!! On the 31st, you have to react to Nightwish's 'Scaretale' with Annette. Has to be the best scary song in the world ever.... a perfect reaction for Halloween

I 1st got in2 Nightwish with Tarja so I absolutely❤her, when she left I had 2 get used 2 Annette (she was perfect 4 Storytime), then it took me a while 2 get used 2 Floor. In my opinion I❤this song more with Tarja, don't get me wrong I❤Floor but 4 this 1 Tarja all the way. I❤the way her & Marko sing 2gether, it's just an absolute perfect fit.

The story of nightwish seems like a trilogy of books, one stage more beautiful than the other... Proud of this band This is my favorite version of this song, mostly because of Marko, the combination of Tarja and Marko is beautiful, the new version of Floor and Henk is very beautiful too, but it is more tied to Henk's tone, and here Marko leaves the soul in every note... it is clear that age plays an important role, Marko today could not sing this version either... just look at Marko and Tarja's version in 2023, and it is by far much worse than the one from 2005.. .but it is understandable, the years happen to everyone.
