I have these in the waterproof style. Love them, very comfortable, plenty of grip on sole on all surfaces, great support.

I have these with a regular toe, non waterproof. Very comfortable. I have worn them working outdoors and on my motorcycle, though I normally wear moto specific boots. The leather is medium thick. I have scratched the toe up pretty good on one of them clearing some brush, now I wish I had set them aside for casual wear, but they certainly can do either. They break in quickly. They rub the front of my shins a bit if I lace them up tight, and since they have three speed laces you can't really leave them loose at the top. Good quality and looks for the price. The sole is outstanding. I bought them slightly too big, but that's on me. The shoe chart is accurate. These are warm weather boots. I do not usually wear out soles very fast, as I am usually working on natural surfaces, so I can't speak to how they would wear on concrete or metal. They do show some wear just from the small amount of concrete walking I have done with them, so the comment below about the softness of the sole is probably right.

I've been wearing these boots for about a year and a half. They are super comfortable and even though they are not water proof, a good coat of Mink oil and water does not seep in. I wear them for all occasions but mostly kicking around the woods and swamps in Florida to pull SD cards from my game cameras. I would highly recommend these boots.

Got these my set up is soft toe none waterproof electric hazard took the original sole out and put in message gel sole( happy feet happy worker) I got them for casual wear since I now only work a total of 5 hours a day two days out of the week and a hour 3 days out of the week.

I am currently wearing this boot I purchased mine from boot barn here in San Dimas California the boot is extremely tough and comfortable! The most comfortable boot I've ever worn! HOWEVER the outsole is so soft which does aid tremendously in the comfort factor it is also the boots downfall in my experience I've worn out the outsole in 5 months!!! To the point where it was no longer slip resistant which for me was a BIG safety hazard working on industrial Air Compressors and handling oil by the gallons every day! Luckily ARIAT does warranty the boot for a year and for boot barn at least if you take the boot back before the end of six months you can exchange them for another pair free! Which is what I did and for that factor as well as the amazing comfort I say if your looking on getting these boots do it! They may not last a long time but I guess that the trade off when you have a insole and outsole this comfortable!

I loved them, the Cascade 8" I'm looking for a wet area version, maybe Gore-Tex. A lighter boot for working & walking on concrete but occasional wet outdoors mud & quick step across deep puddles.

I have had these, in the pull on style, for over 4 years now. They were worked 75% of the time I've had them and worn casually nearly everyday. The work they saw was agriculture, so I've had them in shops full time, exposed them to a ton of different chemicals, worn them in cabs, in the field and everything in between. I rate these 5/5! They're tough as nails! Only issues I've had are; The soles are slippery, but still have some tread. At this point, they're extremely uncomfortable if you wear them on a hard floor working all day (worn out). I did have to have a small tear repaired (stitching gave out leaving a small, 1" hole) at a boot shop around the 3.5 year mark for $15.

Dear The BootGuy I have a box shopping in Miami but I live in Uruguay, therefore I can not be wrong with the size that I get more expensive the return to buy a new pair !!! I have 2 questions: 1. I am interested in buying the WorkHog 8 model (# 10016266), Ariat. My foot (with socks) measures 278mm and I would like to know what size I should buy. 2. Is there waterproof in this model but in aged bark color? Thank you very much for the response I hope you understand my situation, Best regards Andres

Hey love the channel! I recently started hiking around 20 miles a day to get ready to backpack around America. what boots would you recommend?
@TheBootGuyreviews8 жыл бұрын
+Loopy Luna sorry I can not. I am sure you can find someone on KZbin who hikes. I mainly just take really long walks ten plus miles. Along the shoreline of lake Michigan fishing. Then About four or five times a year we do few trails. But nothing like what your gearing up for.

They're lighter, but I bought a pair of Merrell Moab's that are extremely comfortable! I hear some people use them for longer hikes. They may be worth checking out.

I've had a pair of Ariat Cascade boots a while back. Theyre very similar. I had that insole in it and it was VERY COMFORTABLE. Seriously it felt like I was wearing tennis shoes. After about two weeks though it wasn't comfortable....
