I have said this many times, and will continue to say it again. The only way for Dana and the UFC to have a change of heart and start paying fighters what they deserve is if there is enough competition from other fight leagues. If Bellator and the PFL would combine like the AFC and NFC did to make the NFL, they would be big enough to challenge the UFC for the best fighters, and to drive fighter pay and benefits up to where they should be.

competition is bliss in every field, but it's hard to compete with the ufc right now. i think the ufc has more fighters than all other organizations, so I think they're paying their fighters. and if a fighter wants more then he gotta bring numbers .

The ufc is new and has to invest in growing the audience. They pay based on who brings a audience which I think is fair. The fighters are getting what they give.

The NFL has traditionally had many different competing leagues, (CFL, Arena football, XFL, USFL), they failed because unlike the UFC, the NFL has a players union, healthcare coverage, and a percentage of the profits are guaranteed to go to the players/coaches/staff. The UFC is NOT new, and MMA has been a thing since the 1990's (UFC 1 was in 1993).

The MMA is so big and such a huge profit maker, that their are literally over a half dozen organizations.....the UFC is the biggest, but Bellator and PFL are large enough that if they combined they could compete with the UFC.

When all his friends and former opponents came into the cage to show their love and support for him I balled my eyes out. It was like watching an old warrior enter Valhalla, that entire arena was full of love, respect and admiration. I've never seen anything like that, and what a beautiful display of sportsmanship and comradery. Stark contrast to the UFC that uses their legends as jumping pads for young fighters in empty arenas. So happy the GOAT got that send off. That was SPECIAL.

There is no animosity between these two fighters which is what Ariel mentioned in the beginning. Based on previous seasons things tend to fizzle before TUF is even over. What do you bet that Michael Chandler gets injured unexpectedly and Nate Diaz comes in and fights? If not this may have been the biggest mistake of Nate Diaz's career. To me every PPV should be stacked but even the one this weekend is just meh .. Some good fights but 70 bucks worth? Really? I don’t think so.. It happens to everyone to forget someone's name, but of course he's not going to forgive Dana if it happens to him and he's going to rant about it for half an hour.
