I had the privilege to meet/jam/learn from Ariel at Cory Wong’s summer camp. I really can’t say enough great things about him as a musician and person. Extremely humble, talented, and very cool! He even let me play his Mule Guitar :)

So much great information for players and listeners. The use of dynamics is what makes a musician memorable.

Check out the band Malahat, the slide player in the band approaches music kinda the same way but heavier and more evil.

having tried to play slide numerous times I have come to the realisation that it is complete and utter witchcraft

If I was using that tone I’d value silence over notes.

Oh man, what a terrible comment. May you're in a sweeter spot than you were at the moment you wrote this.

Sorry im jk, is it the super loose strings, the slapback, or the very colourful drive that you think puts you off? It all feels a bit rubbery and lacks a bit of clarity, I definitely agree there
