I had a fundamental misunderstanding about behind the slide playing. I thought that when you fret the notes, your slide is supposed to bridge the fretted strings by resting on the unfretted strings. I haven't been angling my slide at all, but completely flattening it against the open strings with my action high enough that I can still fret behind it.

What pickups are those? 360's generally come with p90 or I think jazzmasters. Since Collings uses Lollars, I looked on the Lollar site and didn't see them either. Anyone know?

Hello, anyone know what mute Ariel is using? The device on the headstock behind the nut. I've used the velcro type and really do not like them. Thanks for any info. Very nice playing, technique, tone, etc.
