Wow 39 miles at that price it's going for is a good deal I definitely would spend my hard earned money on this bike with this kinda performance I'll be very satisfied

A throttle only range test is always useful. It gives you a worst-case scenario so you know you'll always get at least that much. On my similar tests, I turn PAS off and just spin the pedals when I come across others, lol. I love cruise control myself, and even have a mode dedicated to making it work better. Half twist throttle are better for long rides though, and on my 2.5 hour ride this morning (34.13 miles), I only used the cruise control once for half a mile. Shreddie loosens up his display so it's just tight enough to hold the throttle. It works! Thanks for the video!

I have an xclass 52v and what confuses me is the difference between the lcd readout and the led meter on the actual battery. I did a 23 mile throttle only run with hills ect and my lcd had two bars left but my battery had 4 leds light up. I weight over 200lbs as well.

I received my x class about a week ago. I got a total of 40 miles range, mainly pedaling with some throttle help for up hills. I did a couple of hills since I have a few in between my house and the beach. I think the hills drain the battery. My average speed was 18mph, and my weight is 165 pounds with gear included. After watching this video, I expected more range. Still, the 40+ mile range with some hills in between is not bad. But far from 40 miles throttle only. (at least in my case) I will consider adding a 2nd battery in the future. Overall I am happy with the bike's performance.

I had a thumb throttle on my bike but it was on the left hand side so I put it on the write hand side but it interfered with my gears so I got a twist throttle and I'm so glad I did no more pain in my thumb or my wrist plus I've got more control over the speed 🙂👍🏾

40 miles on throttle only is respectful and many would be happy if 30 miles was the standard

I just got one of these. Question. Were you running both motors the entire time or just one? I didn’t really hear anything in the video. Maybe i missed it. I would think it would effect the range. I wonder what the difference of both vs front only vs rear only test

this ebike only has rear hub motor

Thanks for testing! I am deciding between a Super73 Z and this one Ariel X, I live in an area that will require about 1 mile of uphill returning home from work, which would you recomend! Thanks! I liked and subscribed!

I've watched other people with the X-class Ariel Riders, and their speed on the bike's computer seldom matches the GPS on the bike. The GPS always points at 2-3 mph lower speeds. One KZbinr, lowered the bike tire size on the computer and it matched his phones GPS. If wonder that if you would calibrate your speed as this youtuber did, would you actually get that distance? Just wondering.
