Hard to put parameters around the BMF since it’s so fluid. But I think the BMF belt should mainly be cross-weight class bouts from now on. If 2 fighters are BMF type and in the same division like Porier and Gaethje then that’s okay but most BMF fights should be like Holloway vs Gaethje. That way the BMF doesn’t stay in one division

People rightly emphasize how Islam, with the takedown threat, out-struck Poirier, but they ignore how Poirier defended an insane 11/16 of Islam's takedowns. The same DP who only defended 13% of Khabib's takedowns (as Khabib is a better mauler and ground and pounder than Islam), defended 69% of Islam's while competing near even with Islam in striking, who is much better than Khabib on the feet. Dustin is an absolute legend and it needs to be said more.
