I can 100% agree, I have been riding for 5 years. And now it is all I do and all I think about. Now I am moving up to a 250/ 125 I still have not Decided. I have always had a 2 stroke and now I want to try out a 4 stroke. Everyone in my family has said to stay with the 2 strokes because how Light they are.

@ThEJeLLyCrAbUwU 2 strokes are lighter, (about a 30lb difference between a cr250 and a crf 450) and have a more aggressive power curve which in terms of fatigue more than makes up for the 11hp.

My son has a 2001 CR250. It’s an absolute beast! Not for the faint of heart! I contend that there’s more of a learning curve to mastering 2 strokes, but they’re a superior performing engine to 4 strokes, all other things being equal.

The tech just isnt up to standard but I wish a big company would . I'd love for ktm to drop a 460 2 stroke and it have the modern technology dedicated to it , people has been brainwashed into thinking the 4 strokes are more powerful, well when you give ANYTHING 200 more cc's it will produce more power, the fact a 250 cant run inside the lights class tells you all ya need to know.

@@clemsontigz1 You are exactly correct every one thinks 4 strokes are faster then 2 strokes and they are if it has a bigger motor but if they were to make a 450 2 stroke it would be more powerful then a 450 4 stroke. When I go out riding with my buddy hes got A 450 4 stroke and I have a 2017 YZ250 and I am right behind him whole time.

@@clemsontigz1 Well technically you can't compare the same cc 4 and 2 stroke bikes because 2 strokes have their powerstroke every second stroke while 4 strokes only have every 4th. So the cc difference should be about double to balance that factor out, when comparing them togehter.

For those that dont get it,this guy didnt just start riding bikes lol.I got a TM125 before the first year RM80 at 13 years old,had go carts as a 3 year old and everything up to cr500,250r 3 wheeler licensed for street.KFX 700 all tricked out,its a part of your life out 4 wheeling to a beach in alaska and then pull out the toys for incredible riding.Back in 70s 80s we rode out 125 yz to school,they had parking for dirt bikes and the law didnt care.Dirt roads mostly.now its nevada and arizona,wide open rides.
