Loading the 28" two stage in and out of my F-350 plow truck was time consuming and dangerous. In my business, this thing is a game changer and worth every penny. Highly recommend it for commercial work where efficiency is important.

Just got in the snow game this season and one of my clients has a lot of sidewalk they want done. My bigger machine requires ramps or Eddie Hall. I was looking for a good solo option. This review definitely sealed the deal. I'm calling my dealer Monday morning! Great review no nonsense. Just subscribed.

It’s so much easier to use than the big 2 stage machines. 12” and up you go back to the 2 stage. Cleans closer too.

Pretty quick on small snowfalls like this. Im searching for videos of a single stage eating lake effect snow. These are marketed as a good sidewalk unit
@jcslawntips3 жыл бұрын
This was lake effect snow actually, just not a ton of it. We had about 8 inches at the end of the day and I did this one twice just so it wouldn't be as much to do at the end.

So I already have a the Ariens Deluxe 30 EFI and was wondering if you think it's a good idea to get a smaller one like this Pro SSRC for light snow days and use the Deluxe 30 for heavy days? Or should I just stick with what I got? Not that the Deluxe is hard to handle, it's actually not bad for a big 2-stage, but this single stage looks effortless with light snow 4"-6".
@duchaneaux3 жыл бұрын
If this helps anyone else, I ended up buying the 36" Snowcaster 70SNC wheeled shovel for light snow days, and it works like a charm so far. Over the last 2 weeks we got a couple 1" snow days and a 3"-4" powdery snow day and I got my 3 lane driveway done in about 5-7 minutes with the Snowcaster. Then this past Tuesday we got hit with a foot of snow and that's when I busted out my Ariens.
@jcslawntips3 жыл бұрын
That's a great combo to have. Having that Deluxe 30 should get you through just about everything. I don't think you need to buy another one unless you want to have something a little lighter and easier to maneuver. Either way, you know what's best for you. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment

It will go through it, just takes a little longer when its heavy and wet. It also won't thought it as far as light snow, as to be expected.

I just picked mine up. Is your chute assemble have a little wobble to it left and right if standing in front or behind it? Not bad and everything tight but just a bit of wobble? Not sure if that's for smooth operation of the chute.

The only problem I see with these is they don't throw the snow very far. You end up blowing snow where you have already cleared so you have to blow it twice? And they are about worthless in wet, heavy snow.

These small single stage machines are mostly look down as weak and unworthy for the winter snow removal task. In reality they were great, handle most situation and portable ( approx. 85-100 lb) no batteries to recharge or to buy. They consume very little ⛽ too. A lot owners of the big 2-3 stage were buying these as the frontline snowblower usage and reserve the BIG one for the big blizzards over 12 inches plus of snow and those huge hard snowbanks. The fact is most likely people receives 1-10 inches of snow ❄️. These machines are great for removing wet heavy slushy snow as well.

So I live outside of Boston and always get slammed with the heavy wet snow, and I’m a newbie so forgive me for the dumb question. If I get this machine will it take care of that at the end of the storm when there’s like 12” of snow fallen or would I have to go out in the middle of the storm to get some the of the bulk snow blown first then again later to make it easier. Great video pal
@jcslawntips Жыл бұрын
A two stage snow blower would probably be better for that much snow. If it’s powder it would do it but it still may be too tall for the chute. A big storm like that going out 2-3 times is best. Thank you for watching
