Although I consider myself pro black for the most part as a young black man. I approve of interracial dating because deep down as humans we are naturally attracted to each other regardless of race and culture due to being visual creatures. Lust and love has no borders. I remember when I went on a one-week cruise with my two cousins (who are sisters and “sisters”) and their husbands. One of the husbands is black and the other is white. Throughout the whole trip, the black husband sat there like a lump and barely spoke, while the white husband was a social butterfly. It’s really a same how people are so hung up on race that they would rather see a black woman with a mute black man instead of a friendly white man. I also had a very Afrocentric classmate in high school who is married to an African. Even though they met in college instead of the internet where you can choose the race of your future soulmate, her “Motherland” radar was in full effect, as she was raised by low-key racist parents who probably wouldn’t accept their daughter settling down with a light-skinned man, i.e. any man with 1% white in him. The irony: when Obama started running for office, she totally jumped on the bandwagon. How, Sway??? 🤷‍♂️

I honestly would rather be with a black woman, or even a mixed girl as long as she’s mixed with black. But at the same time, if a woman of another race treats me with genuine kindness and respect, and shows me love and loyalty, I couldn’t care less about her skin color. People should be happy with whoever they want, no matter the gender or ethnicity. I used to be like a lot of other men who’ve had bad experiences with black women, and said that I would never date another one again, I’ll admit. Then I grew up, matured, and started to understand things more, there are bad women of EVERY ethnicity. There’s always gonna be bad apples out there bunch, so you shouldn’t put down an entire race of women just because of a few bad experiences. I’ve came across plenty of black women who don’t fit into the stereotype that are attracted to black men, and I honestly feel like they don’t get acknowledged enough. But to each their own. That’s just my honest experience.
