Small mistake @10:18, Randall actually directed for 4 which would've canceled on both the Hajime attacks that revealed a 2 Soul trigger which actually just give double hit on the Shuna (Hakurou as damage, Hakurou Benimaru as flip). Personally @21:54 I feel like going for both the direct first would be the more consistent play since Randall is just out and Mike knows there's no soul trigger left to check. Randall will level on the first attack and won't refresh before leveling. Slime in general plays a lot of soul triggers so there's a decent chance one appears on the 3rd check despite Mike holding 6 in hand and some in play.

I wasn't fortunate enough to get my hands on the level 1 Shizu before she spiked in price, so I've always worked with this particular level 1 Milim for the Mjurran build, and I'm glad to see it repped here post-ban! My list is a bit more janky as I don't have many Slime vol1 cards, so I'm missing those high quality yellow level 0s, but I supplement their absence with the red drop salvage Shuna from set 2. Not ideal, but Mjurran and the top end are so good that as long as I don't brick myself completely I can get into level 2 comfortably and do what the deck wants to do.

The way I see it, since he was out 8 i still think it was better to CX Swap into two soul and swing at him, the extra 3 damage would put pressure , the power of using Shea combo is that you don't even need your opp to cancel to win in most cases, you trade consistent damage for cheap variable burst damage.

I'm trying to cook a 4 standby/4 gate build for Slime. Using the lvl 1 Rimuru from set 2. You can bring both Mjurran or Shuna in the lvl 1 placing the standby, then Rimuru lvl 1 can twin drive to check more standbys and build the board. When it works, is really devasting using Mjurran combo in lvl 1, and when it not works, you try to build stock and hand to use Mjurran at lvl 2. I think it's fun and I like cooking standby builds
