I'm finally watching this almost a year and a half after discovering and loving EYK and I am realizing why they stopped doing videos and interviews like these. Much of the interview was "tell us how Korea is great" though not as blunt. This is also such a serious interview it's hard to watch when I'm used to how crazy S&M are.

I TOTALLY, TOTALLY love you guys... Thank you very much for all the hard work you've been doing. For letting us know you by sharing who you are and your experiences. You are a blast of human beings. Really, really thank you... muchas gracias... 감사합니다

Just to let u guys know simon and martina, while you do your fair amount of poking and provoking of us from time to time, S. Korea still loves for what you do, with your humor and positivism, and I have a feeling the world appreciates it as well. Keep up the good work !!

Guys! I feel such a strong connection to your story! You both moved to Korea 2 months after I did and, at least for me and for you as well, that choice to move to teach english in Korea totally changed my life. I only taught there for one year but, in that time, I met the love of my life, he moved to Canada and we now own a Korean import shop in Korea town in Toronto. I love your videos and love what you do!

Simon and Martina, you guys are awesome. I have always loved Korean culture and thought no one else did until I came upon one of your videos a year ago. It's so great to see so many people with the same passion that I have. You guys made me love Korea even more now. Thanks to you guys I have something to watch and make Mondays awesome and now Wednesdays as well. I hope you continue what you're doing and not feel pressured, but know that many love you and that watching your videos means so much

I ran across Martina and Simon's videos purely by accident. I saw one video and I was hooked! My daughter is dating a Korean guy (He was adopted and raised in the US) and I was curious about the Korean people. So, after a few videos regarding Korea, I ran across Martina and Simon. I have since subscribed to their videos and look towards watching them all :)

This interviewer just didn't get it, especially during the part of the interview where they talked about who would make it abroad. She was salty as hell when they said that SNSD wouldn't make it in the west, specifically breaking out into Western entertainment. They were completely right, and everything they said was correct. While talented and a fantastic K-Pop group, they have always been so blended, with no particular break out member, so it didn't work when they tried. I feel like the interviewer had her own ideas of each question she asked them, rather than being objective in the interview she wanted to mold it to her views on the topics at times. I can see why they stopped doing these types of interviews.
@theicesk8r14 жыл бұрын
you two are truly amazing! i never really realized how much effort each video took, thank you so much :]
@sosmcs10 жыл бұрын
I don't like the interviewer and I don't like how she said her foreign friends spend all their time in Itaewon in a really condescending way.. I don't live in korea but the vibe that I get from all the videos I watch bout it, is that korean people look down on non-koreans.. And btw the interviewer needs to work on her transitions from one question to the other

Are Simon And Martina going to have children? just curious? It's been 5 years since this video and I'm just wandering whether they still plan on having children. I understand that this may be a sensitive topic for them and I'm not trying to pressurise them to do anything.
@typical_snowflake8 жыл бұрын
I think this is a very sensitive topic, and that's totally their business. Martina's syndrome is a lot more difficult to live that we can see on their videos. Having a baby with her disease is complicated and can have consequences on both mother and child health. Pregnancy is not impossible but can be difficult and painful. I hope they will find a way to be parents if it's their wish. Love you guys stay strong like you are

Not too many people can say that they're doing what they love and that they don't have to follow a certain routine like getting up early and having report to someone. Very commendable and brave to follow your desire and take big risks. But the couple is also very natural and good at this. Seems like they were born to do this. The woman is very, very cute in her demeanor and dress. There's so much positive energy in what they do.

I loved the music they used in the show and started looking on iTunes where an entirely new musical genre presented itself to me!!
