I agree with the two French people, I also think it’s the same in all western Europe. People focus on a sustainable life (eating local, buying quality products and less of them). Showing off is not seen as a good thing.

The most important thing is judging yourself if it needs to be you. Of course, you really want to buy goods that were shown on social media, advertisements, and youtube. Strange to say, those goods are likely to include every sponoser. For example, on youtube, some KZbinrs cheated their subscribers as if goods were theirs. However, all the goods had sponsors, but KZbinrs didn't tell it. As a result, they apologize to them. So it is very important to judge very carefully
