In this video I discuss the work from home opportunity known as Arise. Now Arise has gotten notoriety due its TV appearance on the VIEW. However there is a number of things you need to know about this opportunity that should be taken into consideration.
Arise work from home is a process in fact its a 7 step process.
There is a background check which costs $ 7.95. In addition they want you to become and Independent Business Owner which is a cost and paperwork. You do have the option of signing under someone, however that is not free and its a cost taxed on the work you provide. Your wages are typically from $9.00 to $16.00. You can only start to work to get paid after becoming certified for a particular company in which there is a cost that ranges from $19.99 up to $209.99. The process for you to actually work from home could take up to at minimum 4 weeks or more.

I Love working with Arise. The training is thorough and very in depth. Some people are put off by the fact that you have to pay for your own training, but I saw no issue with that and made sure to attend all classes & complete all homework assignments & tests. Overall my client is great and I make sure to select my schedule on the day hours are released. Arise is perfect for me, a full time student, and I work around my class schedules with no issues.

@@sherahbrown1411 The type of work you do depends on the client you wish to service. They all have a base hourly rate but some clients require sales reps and pay incentives for reaching call quotas and sales. Some clients require service by taking incoming calls and data entry like booking reservations. Then there are some that need reps for tech support or customer service. Arise provides a detailed list of companies that need service reps and what type of service they require. Each client also requires a minimum statement of work (hours that they need you to work each week) with 20 hours per week being the highest that I've seen to date. Some may only require 10-15 hours. As for pay it usually comes down to twice a month, bi-weekly. But this too can vary depending on whether you create your own call center or sign on with an existing IBO.

I am an IBO and I have been with the Arise company since 8/2016, and I love it, I would encourage people to join. with anything there is always caution but this is a very GOOD way to earn money. you will have to go through steps but with anything you do, you want to take your time and complete the process correctly. They have people that will help you once you are a part of Arise. I give it thumbs up.

I know this has been a while since you've posted, but as a suggestion, what you can also do first is work Arise as a part-time job to see how it goes while at least earning some income at your current job. Once you're able to start making money with Arise and do your schedule, maybe then you can determine if you'd rather continue working it as a side job, or quit your current job entirely. Also, I believe the pay rates would be different for a call center agent versus an IBO. So, maybe you can start as call center agent and use some of the proceeds to begin your own IBO, make a couple of extra paychecks from you current job and then maybe go on leave first so you can utilize even more time into your business, then quit, or quit once you've paid up enough bills ahead or depending on your income flow and how you're managing first with Arise. Either way, apparently, it seems like you're not planning to be at your job for the long haul...or even the short haul. If you can manage with something like Arise, at least it's an option.

There are work from home companies such as Telecom and Convergys where you are their employee and some like Arise and Liveops where you contract your services, you receive a 1099 at the end of the year. You manage your own taxes and health insurance and you choose your hours -it's your business. Look up 1099, look up what your tax write offs are in being self employed (1099) and what your tax percentage is as a 1099 receiver (again considered self employed). With Arise you are either an incorporated (IBO) or you are working under a company (IBO). Each IBO is different (some are good some bad) you have to research them like you would any other company to see if you are a good fit. Some people like the sound of LLC but know nothing about running a business. Some become LLC just to work for themselves, not considering that someone will choose their company to work under. They just wanted to work, not manage. Some IBOs actually consider themselves a business a call center and run their business as such. If the IBO was trying to go the whole nine yards then you should be able to find their website and social media presence. If they had people under their company, you should be able to see reviews about their experience. When you are on the platform, you have all these companies (IBOs) to choose from and in that moment you choose one to get in. But don't do that! Take the time to do the research. When you are an independent contractor or Freelancer you are in business for yourself. Working for Arise or LiveOps is about Marketing yourself, equipping yourself for how many clients you want to take on and managing yourself or others should you choose to incorporate your business. Arise - some IBOs take a percentage, some take the first dollar or two (these two think of as how the temp agencies work- their clients hire them to find you. They are not paying you what the company says the hrly rate is.) Some IBOs charge a flat fee. They may or may not have fees themselves for you working under their company. They problem is people are rushing into something that they do not have a clear understanding about. There are IBO KZbin videos. Look to see if you want the IBO responsibilities or if you would rather work under one (and which one fits you). Also, consider that with Arise and LiveOps you are building a business clientele. As a beautician, one head could not support you. The same goes for the two. You make have to mix them up to build your business as an independent contractor. Both are platforms that allows contractors and businesses to connect. The others like Convergys and Telecom actually hire you as an employee.

The cost of the clss I signed for was $55, then I had to change internet providers for more speed at a monthly increase of $25. Then I was told I needed to buy a monitor, headset, keyboard & mouse and a docking station. The whole process took two months before I could actually begin then the nightmare ASD set up came. The whole experience from day one was horrific, FOR ME. It wsn't the client I wanted but that position filled up before I could get all the rest done. I may go back & try again if the original client I wanted ever comes back but all that they offer now is cruise lines, tax help and roadside assistance, that's it.

The only thing a new person that’s thinking about working with arise, needs to only listen to one thing this man said. It takes time and you have to pay. That’s the only thing you need to take from this video. If you decide to work with arise they will not blind side you. You will know what you have to pay before you get into it. Maybe it’s not for you if your not willing to pay for your training. Also the class is long, but look at it this way, when you are taking in calls you are by yourself, nobody is there to hold your hand, so you need to be on top of your game. Arise was a game changer for me.

"Let's say you want to do 10..." Is a bit misleading. It sounds as if a person has the option to sign of for ten opportunities, simultaneously, which is impossible. The most that is recommended is no more than two at a time and time won't even allow for ten, within a calendar year. The psychology behind the fee is you're more likely to follow through and FINISH the assignment, if you invest in the assignment. It's similar to a brick & mortar, full time paid training that you get from a company AFTER you successfully complete the training. Some IBO's offer a refund voucher, after so many months commitment to an assignment.

Thank you for the honest opinion of the Arise Virtual Solutions! You're correct that it is not "fast money." Most fast money opportunities available online are scams. There is cost involved, but every business has a cost and that's normal. Any business opportunity requires your time and some money. People can minimize their cost by starting under a call center or Independent Business until they are ready to create their own EIN and establish their own business. Otherwise, everyone is an independent contractor with a 1099 form for tax purposes. You mentioned that the certification costs vary from $20-40. I'm not sure where you go this number. Certification courses can vary much greater than stated. You can generally expect that the associated cost corresponds with the revenue earning potential so even though the opportunity is not "fast money" and does cost, Independent Businesses and contractors alike can earn the return of their investment and have consistent, stable revenue.

I would have to say this opportunity isnt for everyone, some people arent made to be independent contractors or customer service providers. This opportunity is made for those to want to be their own boss. Of course theres fees when your gonna be your own boss. You ever hire a contractors for house work? Do you pay them to take a course on the job to be done? No, this is the same concept. This opportunity is where you are offering your service, not the other way around. Think about that for a min. There are other opportunities out there that you can work from home however most are a 9-5 job, and youre working for someone else rather than yourself.

And you begin to get paid B4 u even certify cuz there paid while you earn time, and if you take a call for training you get paid for those calls. If you have great internet speed, and a line you shouldnt have ANY issues with getting started. Only a few clients don't require land line bcuz, the Cal's come via computer

@jroberson7804able
@jroberson7804able Жыл бұрын
19.95 (if it hasn’t changed) per pay period is the fee they charge for using their platform. For example, when transitioning from training to live calls I had a few hours right on the end of the pay period let’s say $30, they deducted their $19.95 fee, and my first check was $10.05. On a regular bases I would account for that $19.95, and work an extra hour or so per week to offset that in order to get the check that I actually needed. Just something to keep in mind, if you work enough to earn $20, they are going to get their $19.95 off the top, you will get $0.5, so financially it’s better to keep up with the pay period but coming out of training it’s hard to avoid it.

There are no other fees other than paying for your class I have done everything free signing up filling out my forms and everything only thing that I paid for is my training that is it equipment and additional systems might be needed and that is what you would have to pay for but everything in this video that he is talking about is very incorrect

An even greater word of caution is to make sure the IBO you work for is legit because I was robbed of my TIME AND MONEY working for an IBO that didn’t pay me! I notified Arise and THEY DID NOTHING!!!! There’s no protection for the agents! Another word of caution is that you have to go to more training after you’ve already did the classes ON YOUR OWN TIME WITHOUT PAY!

It depends on the opportunity (for example: home depot, airbnb, carnival cruise and more) you choose. Some are open 24/7 while others aren't. I would go with the 24/7, seeing as it has a larger pool of hours. From there, you can choose as many as you want and even get first dibs depending on your metrics. As far as the background check, I'm not too sure. Hope I helped with at least half of your question and wish you well on your professional journey!!!

has there ever been mentioned with any you have done, a monthly fee for anything? I found the Arise platform a year ago and saw the cost for the scourse and is why i never got to pursue it since i was struggling financially at the time and just didnt have the things i needed to pursue it. but yea like i said is there any monthly fees that were not mentioned?
@jok3st4
@jok3st4 5 жыл бұрын
Arise, itself charges a 19.95 fee from each check for the platform. If you are under an IBO, then they may choose to put their own fee on top of that. If you are working under your own IBO, then all you will pay is that 19.95.

Possible trigger warning (race): I have a weird question that I really hope doesn't come off the wrong way, and you're probably not the best person to ask for obvious reasons, but why does it seem like it's almost exclusively black women who do this, or at least who review it on KZbin? No disrespect intended at all, it's purely a matter of curiosity.

I am an IBO and have been for 8+yrs.... It depends on the client you chose thru Arise. The quick answer is no but there are things to consider. Some companies have 4+ weeks of training. Some if not most times you can make your investment back ($ paid for class) before you get certified. You ARE paid anytime you are servicing calls.... Now as a word of caution, if you chose to work under someone (not starting your own company), PLZ try to make sure they're trustworthy and open about service fees, payment, etc. so you are getting your money... I've heard not the best stories about some IBOs taking advantage because ppl jump in not looking at this as "real" work , which it is. You will get what you put in, it's really as simple as that. Take it seriously, pick a well established client, (considering the type of biz and likelihood of consistent hours available to work/earn), carve out your quiet space and you will see great results...

duh! its still an opportunity to invest in yourself! or then again maybe my marketing and sales characteristics just comes out bashing new "doors". Yes he's right you pay into it. so what? if you put the work in even after starting you would have the opportunity to generate a strong income. "like a mall business" is right. Why not start somewhere. Arise also offers business opportunities to ESTABLISHED companies! Marketing for the right price, I can imagine has always helped others. It's not for everyone of course! But for some the very "convenience" of work itself , it worth the training you are required to wait through before training! I haven't started yet myself. Those steps are a BOOGER for sure. Anyone interested my advice is too, come fully prepared, that way you're not spending a shit load all at one time. If you are looking for quick cash, why not wait out the "BEGINNING"? (Start your own business platform?) It just happens to be the age of technology "HELLO!" But to each it's own. Even after all my research on the company, I say its a good reference to associates and peers who could use the income from the convenience from home...for any predominant reason (for that matter). Written by Cassandra's sister...had to chime my two sense in on this one!

1) If you are an IBO you can see there are also usage fees. 2) You have to invest in having the right equipment (not only you home computers but for some clients you have to have other equipment as well) 3) You pay for your training but are not paid DURING training (time is money) 4) It costs to set up your own business (needed to become an IBO). Basically, there is money on the table for the taking than you and those misc fees can be recouped, you just have to understand the investment that goes along with it.
