Of course, she was a protective mother and thought exceptionally highly of her own kids, I don't think she ever had a passionate love relationship. Jackie is on record confiding in friends and family about her fear for the lives of her children. She just witnessed her brother in law, her husband and MLK being assassinated… in her lifetime. It was a very dangerous political time. My family are Washingtonians… we lived it. Look up how much the JFK estate left her. It was plenty for her to live her opulent life style. She had me run to all our neighbors and tell them to turn the radios on. It was a sad day in America. People loved the Kennedy's. And they did refer to them as America's royalty. That is not her gravestone. It is, I believe, at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was a student in 1949/1950 (her junior year at college.)
