I really like your Crosstrek me and my wife was looking at 1 for a family car it was a little too small for that but I would like to get one for myself to drive to work and your videos are are pretty cool looks like u live in perty cool place

Nice chill drive Rick. I hit the limits of my Crosstrek a couple weeks ago trying to make it to a Ranger station in Tonto, had to back down the cliff in mud, seriously need more power for the verticals...

@@AZdroptop No X mode on the 6spd, and not enough power to spin the wheels on the inclines with just the go pedal...it's like being in 4 high when you need 4 low lol. My mother is not well she decided to not do the surgery and explore other options. Thanks for asking!

Both of the lakes are pretty out of the way for those of us who live in Tucson and I bet a lot of people don't know about them. I think one of the big problems is all of the illegal border activity in the area...some find it to be unsafe I think. The big lakes up Near Phoenix and Globe are crazy busy.

If you live in a border state it is self explanatory. Drug trafficking, illegal entry, medical emergencies, disease etc. These guys are understaffed and under appreciated.

@@AZdroptop I live in a border state bud, just as close as you do. Unless you're talking about how they're staffing and managing legal checkpoints, you're not tethered to the reality that most drugs come through our legal ports of entry. Medical emergencies, disease, and the preponderance of illegal entry is driven by a humanitarian/economic crisis and we are capable of handling it if we change our perspective. Enjoyed your crosstrek videos, but their "BS" is absolutely nothing compared to what the people they're coming across have been through.

I lived here for nearly 50 years and have a number of friends in the Border Patrol who share stories on a fairly regular basis and I am in EMS. I guess I just have a different opinion on the subject so we will just leave it at that. Thank you again for watching.

Great video as usual Rick! Looks like a beautiful and peaceful place. Also nice to canoe or kayak on and go fishing. Is the heat unbearable to stay out for hours on end?

Thank you Dave! The heat isn't too bad really..I think we hit 106 today so you wouldn't want to be out riding your bike or working too hard, but with a pool or sitting on a lake it would be no problem. You get used to it after awhile.
