46:19 Sir in the 1st question, here the question asks for revised sales with profit being same when fixed cost decreases. This means if profit is same with less fixed cost, then the sales is less, resulting into less contribution, which clearly means less variable cost(not per unit wise but in total because of less units sold) The question doesn't say that the selling price is reduced, which means less no. Of units are sold as compared to earlier for the same amount of profit, therefore the solution by icai is right sir.

Hello sir, thank you for your marathon class. I was atleast able to attend questions with the conceptual clarity that I got from watching this marathon lecture. The paper wasn't tough. It was easy yet A looooongggggg paper. Tbh accounts was shorter than this... I wasn't able attend more questions since i got stuck up with standard costing. I really thought that i will fetch full 10 marks from it, unfortunately i got confused with the application 😔 and coming to Employee costing, question is about finding the standard time. I got 48 hrs when i used halsey premium ( Assumed Time allowed to be S and computed halsey wages 4800 + [(S-60)80] ) then used this equation in Factory cost. But when i used Rowan plan i got time allowed as 66.67 hrs... So I was damnn frustrated cos its a damnn easy question... When the answer didnt come for me i got tensed... Then i straight way went to standard costing and there i got confused with certain things... Cost sheet was the easy one! Cost of special drawings i didnt taken into consideration, as i dont know its accounting implication in cost sheet... I just gave a note that it doesn't form part of cost of sales... I was expecting a marginal sum for 5-10 marks like the one we solved from past question papers but didnt find any like that in the paper... Anyway thank you so much sir. I will have to revise some more chapters by watching this revision marathon and get myself prepared for the next attempt... After revising concepts thru this marathon... I should work out the sums that you gave in the pdf as well rtps for the last 5 attempts... Since may 2024 is going to be an exam on new syllabus i feel like if i get time to cover all the AS for accounts, and new Acts ( LLP & FEMA ) and obviously Tax... I will allot some time to Costing alone and try writing costing exan alone from G2 and if i get exemption from that... In nov 24 i will have to write the remaining two papers from the grp 2... I think we just need to write an assumption on whether the sales is proposed to be changed by quantity sold or selling price. Sir has solved assuming that change in the proposed sales is purely based off a change in the selling price, while ICAI has solved assuming that the change is purely based off a change in quantity sold. You'd get the proposed sales as Rs. 51,74,000 with the former assumption and Rs. 58,00,000 with the latter.
