Fished Saguaro last Tuesday for a few hours and only caught a few small bass on DS

I fished Barlett on Monday 1/29 had an awesome day on the Flats 9 large mouth all 2lbs plus. Also a PB Crappy 1.14lbs. I started fishing Bartlett more base in Info from your reports. Thanks👍

At Canyon Lake last wek. Had success in middle of lake 20-30 ft deep with a small silver spoon just vertical jigging catching yellow bass.

Was at Saguaro on Saturday of the WM open. Water temperature came down to 53.5 🥶. Managed to grab a couple on dropshot, they were cold and lethargic though

Sag bite was shallow until now. You were fishing center of grass cove by pirate rock and they were sitting in channel 13’ deep. I ran kytek from 4ft to 14 slow rolling over grass hill from reeds and caught a handful in30min. No dropshot bite there either just that kytek light setup 3.5”.

I've been getting them on crankbaits pretty shallow. Last time I was at Rosie, the Dime 6 was the deal. I couldn't get bit on anything else that I tried. That could change with all of the runoff.

Pleasant has been brutal. The blade bait with the lift and drop has been getting a few lmb but mostly whites and stripers.

Hi Josh- I lived in Mesa, AZ for a while but had to move to Washington State for family reasons. I really enjoyed fishing Bartlett, Alamo, Canyon and Roosevelt. In fact my buddy and I thought we had won our club tournament on Roosevelt in May but unfortunately we ended up in second place due to a dead fish penalty. 😢 Thanks for all the great tips you give us Josh. I hope you have great success on the MLF Bass Pro Tour this year. I try to add you to my fantasy fishing team especially on smallmouth events.😊👍🏻

The flipping bite on fire on Roosevelt caught around 30 fish in ltf tournament there definitely in pre spawn mode from 0 to 5 foot of water

Hey i live in northern Arizona it's been rough because my local pounds and lakes have been frozen over. I go up to Williams by devil dog. But what's good for up there in that area? I have been getting catches on jerk bait mino but what would you recommend in my area?

I plan to fish more swimbaits( soft plastics, like rage swimmer) more choppos, and slobber knockers....ive backed away from this stuff way too long
