ARIZONA'S BEST STATE PARK? SPLASHING AROUND SLIDE ROCK STATE PARK 💦 FULL-TIME RV LIFE

🎉 It’s Thomas’ birthday, so we decided on trip to one of our favorite places, Sedona, AZ. Sedona is know for its breathtaking red rocks landscape, and is a great spot for hiking and other outdoor activities.
🚎 Our favorite Sedona dry camping spot used to be off of FR- 525, but things have changed a bit since our last visit in 2021. Probably due to misuse during Covid, a law was passed that prohibited single site dispersed camping. Group camping is still allowed in a few areas. However our RV didn’t really fit any of the spots, and we didn’t love the close proximity. Once we realized this, we made a last minute reservation and we stayed in Cottonwood (only 29 min from Sedona) at Verde Ranch RV Park. (verderanchrvre...)
💦 One thing that we always wanted to do while visiting Sedona is Slide Rock. It is one of the most popular states park in Arizona. It consists of an 80 foot natural water slide which is great to cool off from the Arizona heat. Victoria also cliff jumped into the cool water! All year round the water temperature is chilly, so don't be shocked when you jump in!
💦 The Toozigoot River Access was our second birthday activity. We pumped up our paddle boards and set out on this very calm section of the river to enjoy the water on a fairly hot day. We had started the day intent on finding a swimming hole in Sycamore Canyon and it turns out we had already done this trail (Parsons Trail) a couple years ago (video link below). The entire Verde River area has so many outdoor adventures to explore!
