With a mega drought across the West, Arizona is hardly the only state with water supply issues, but experts say it is unique.

Maybe start by STOPPING mega resorts like the water park Crystal Lagoon with their 80 MILLION gallon pool and all these stupid mega apartments being built. That's a start. But hey, this is America, land of the stupid morons.

Fool! The columbia is extremely toxic and is also dual water....salt and fresh. You do not take from one state to supply another. Maybe arizona should take the drought serious. Move! Stop building! Get rid of lawns.....but never take water from another state.

This is surely another disaster in the making. So Lake's Powell and Mead are both in decline as well as the aquifer! What happens when all three are no longer providing any significant water?? The state government talks about building a desal plant at the Sea of Cortez and piping water up from there. A big plant takes years to build and will still only provide a small amount of water relative to needs of the state. And despite these pending threats to water supply Arizona continues to encourage moving to Arizona and agriculture is going gang busters as mentioned in this video.

And 2 California US Senators!! The Sec of the Interior had no votes! Cecil Andrus was a puppet of Jimmy Carter. When Carter was elected, the CAP was very close to being approved. Like a number of things Jimmy tried to impose his will on the CAP. Until he was told that numerous congressional Democrats outside Arizona wanted the CAP. Then he had to change his tune!!!

@@frankmorris4790 Not since I was a teenager, dad kept a few pigs back when you could raise a few and make some money. Factory farms put an end to that. Worked for a farm services outfit back when they used high school kids for things like detasselling and vaccine crews. These days I live in a little town that hasn't had a store or a post office since Hoover was wrecking the country. Never cared about Arizona until I found out you guys want our water for your Golf courses. Lots of farms around here ain't non of them got irrigation.
