I’m definitely going to wait a while. I’m so tired of paying money to QA games. It’s really dragging the hobby down, and it seems to be getting worse over time. I’d much rather experience it later after it’s had bug fixes and the Quest 3 graphics update. Gamers have slowly come to accept this as normal. Imagine if other products were sold this way? We’d by a new car and say things like, “it has great potential, hopefully I’ll be able to make it all the way to work without breaking down after the factory has sorted through some of the issues.”

@@jioxxvr I get that, but it wasn't that bad here (not on Cyberpunk level) for us to quit playing. We couldn't wait to finish it despite of it. Also, heard they squashed most of the issues already! We were on an early build so release build should be much better 🙌

I did get the first one originally for Windows Mixed Reality. Then, later picked up two copies for my son and me on Oculus when it was on sale for $15. I will probably get it on Oculus again, but play through it on PC with Quest 3. My son and I had a blast with the first one and are looking forward to this one.

Arizona Sunshine 1 and After the Fall both say they support room scale, Arizona Sunshine 2 only lists sitting and standing modes. Will using natural turning and moving around a bit glitch it?

Great review! I'd definitely find it hard to pay 50$ for 6 hours, but maybe when it's on sale and not so buggy.

It's not even six. Honestly i don't play games fast by any measure and stop to mess around and it really took me 4.5 hours. Each level averages 20 mins. Some are under 15. For the price it is unfortunately a terrible deal. They really should have priced it appropriately.

thank you for this good, fair and honest review. I have played today 1-2 hours slowly... Steam VR version... cable connection to a good PC with RTX 4080... but even with all settings at max... this game looks... ok.. better than Arizona Sunshine 1 for sure... but I can´t really follow hearing that graphic ingame is fine and very good, ESPECIALLY looking at the standalone Quest 3 version. At least for me, graphic like this... for such an expensive game release 2023... is NOT enough... for sure it IS Arizona Sunshine, the gameplay we love :) zombies look better and can be killed much better :) but overall graphic... looks more like a game released round about 2018... especially compared to games released close before... like Assassins Creed Nexus... or I have played Red Matter 2... compared to this Arizona Sunshine...even the Steam VR version... looks really not that good at all ! So at least for me... I pay 50 Euro for 4-6 hours of good gameplay with gore and killing zombies... because of that I will keep it, since I love the gameplay. But 50 Euro... is too much ! 25 Euro max. for normal version would be more suitable ...

I will get it on quest 3 if I can get a 30% off coupon... I was thinking about buying on PSVR2 for bettergraphics, but that headset just collects dust at this point. It's super uncomfortable, and annoying with the cord. Huge regret buying that thing.

I had some experience with Motion Capture and gotta say it has a very fluid movement animations, mechanics and choreography overall. Something that wasn't so obvious for the VR games in the past. Kudos to the devs. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

I am very happy to see the quest 3 version. I have sold my psvr2 and got a quest 3 instead for easier pick up and play game sessions. @@VirtualMoose no worries. I was kinda thinking the same as you but I paid £32.99 for switchback vr , I played before patch and I really enjoyed it and felt I got my moneys worth. Not sure if I’ll go back to it but I might end up doing so, every now and then. So I think I’ll feel similar way about paying £32 for Arizona sunshine 2 but I think I may enjoy this game more because you actually move around and have the cute dog. And 1 thing that made me enjoy switchback more, was the actual vr aspect of being on the rollercoaster, inside the game. I have many problems with psvr2. Motion sickness being the WORST but Damn does it feel great, being inside the game. Especially when you have zombies running up to you, trying to bite ya face off. Did you play resident evil village in psvr2? If so, how did you feel when you bumped into the messed up baby in the dolls house? I almost pooped myself . I did not know it was coming 😭

@@grahamkelly8662 hmm I've not heard of switchback VR 🤔 no I don't have PSVR 2, but I did get RE:4 in a recent sale and was actually impressed with how good it is! I think zombie games in VR are just a whole new experience, the revival of the Resident Evil games is evidence of that.

Not sure why KZbin brought my old post back to my attention, but in these last 2 months... Funny, I did buy the game on sale (probably a 25%-30% off coupon) and it's been one of my favorite games on VR! Love it. I'm within ~15 minutes of finishing it though I may have hit a bug and that's another story. But darn, the game is still excellent. Super fun, great casual shooter, and buddy the dog just makes this game. Glad to be reminded that the developers will be adding 2-3 content updates this year? Nice!

I think they should flesh out the Multi-player so that you can choose distinct characters. The main character of the game is charismatic and has a pet dog. I think they should add more distinct characters with different attributes. Add of course different pets. Like actually different animals for all. And they should have all have a ability or purpose somehow. Like a badass lady with a dessert bird, borderlands sniper vibes, just an example. Scientists with a spider etc. Each character could have different special weapons. I think they could use each characters to make 4 more semi mini stories as content and a way to flush out the characters get to know them. Maybe even make it so you have to rescue the pets of each one as well. The dog could maybe hear something and run off and you chase and search for the pets. Thoughts?

IF I grab this, I'm waiting for the Q3 update. I hope they actually put work into it. 50 bucks is a steep price for 4 or 5 hours of play. If they make the Q3 update amazing, it'll make the 50 dollar price easier to swallow. I wouldn't pay more than 20 with the way it is now.

Is there any reason you don't link the Quest 3 up to a PC for better graphics? The game doesn't look the best graphically, especially at that price point, and hooking it up to a PC looks like the best way to do it.

I was so disappointed in this game. It’s very repetitive and boring. When you reload early, before you completely ran out in the magazine, you lose the remaining ammo from the magazine. I wish the ammo system was more like resident evil where you get to keep the remaining ammo without picking it up off the ground
