Glad to be following along this year. Did not follow any of your triple crown hikes but will have to go back and see those. In addition to the AZ Trail, we are really looking forward to your Ice Age trail hike since we have never followed anyone that has done that trail. We enjoy your videos. I love seeing these little towns you find along your travels. And I enjoy seeing you make friends along the way. I remember all the back to the AT when you pretty much chose to stay to yourself. I’m sure that may have had more to do with the people on the trail, but just the same it is nice to see you connect with people while you’re out there.

Sorry it is raining. AZ even though a desert, gets rain and snow. Water in the southern part is scarce. Some of those cow tanks are nasty. The last hiker I saw do the AZT had to get water from puddles on the road. There is one good thing about it being cold, it keeps the snakes in their dens. It will only get better. When yuou get to the Grand Canyon all bad parts of the trail will go qway for the views are stunning. Happy tails.

Hope those aches and pains fade quickly. I bicycle more than hike. If I’m off the bike for awhile then do a long ride my sit muscles scream out loud. Hope those hips or skin over your hips settle down. BTW, there is a product called “Chamois Cream” which is a dry anti chaff cream. Stuff works great!!!

Dink around with that tank. See if you can turn on the water. Never give up easily at a stock tank. Sometimes lifting or wiggling the float will turn it on.

it sounds ironic to hear you say it won't stop raining but you don't have any water sources. I can't imagine rain water is that much worse than that rusty source you had.
