Great interview. I absolutely adore AYREON, it's my favourite music. Arjen is so chill, hate to hear he's not feeling well ATM. Also the concerts were absolutely amazing, and we (my friend group, including Markus who's mentioned in the beginning) really jumped on the duckies theme. We had crowns, tiara's, somebody brought miniature ducks that we shared with other ducky fans.. it's was the best experience ever. I met so many new friends and finally saw people irl that I've known for like 3+ years. Can't wait to have an experience like this again.

I can 💯 confirm that Arjen and the people that participate in his projects are really kind and down to earth people, as me not being well known or in the music industry, and having had brief interactions with Arjen and Marcela, they were still very kind to me, even though there was nothing to gain for themselves from taking the time to do so.

Sorry guys… I started the interview past week but I just could finish right now… Excellent work!!! I went to Tillburg from Madrid with my argentinian flag and I could be in first row in some of the shows and the rehersal… best experience of my life, meeting Ayreonauts from all the world… and Brittney was amazing, she stoled the show doing Floor’s parts and Fate of Man too… all were amazing!!

i was at the show on Friday night this year, it was amazing, and when they did the encore i freaking lost it! it was amazing! also, i watch reactions to that song all the time. its the most listened to song of Arjen.. Also, i got Covid while in the Netherlands for the concert, so now i have to blame the concert.. lol.. Worth it!

Arjen spotting new talents: Electric castle 1998 he booked Anneke, Sharon from WT, Damian Wilson... Later he worked with Russell Allen and Floor Jansen (2000). STAR One tour, we got Joost on keyboards and Floor and Irene Jansen on backing vocals.. Then Marcela for SoP and he spotted Lisette van den Berg for Theater Equation and Universe... You guys reacted to Universe and Electric castle live, Why not giving a chance to Theater Equation also, the first Ayreon show released on 2016?

Fan-base comment, here: if I recall it right, it was Floor, intruducing Joest to Arjen. He still needed a keyboarder. Had found Floor. And she was the singer in After Forever. And she told him: "Our keyboarder is quite good. Maybe ask him?" Something like that. I wasn't there. I just recall her, saying something like that. About the rubber duck: do you folks remember that slogan from Sony: "It's not a trick, it's a Sony!" ? I once made a picture for a friend. Bought a rubber duck. Sat down in our driveway. Butt-naked. Legs crossed. And placed the duck, where you would expect to have a glimpse on my "jewlery". Named that pic: "It's not a trick: it's a duck!" Made her laugh. Mission accomplished! Greetings from the far north of Germany! (Arjen just brought u a new subsciber.) I've been suggesting 2 singers to Arjen, over the years. I'll not give away those names. He didn't knew both of 'em. So: if one of them is ever singing for him: guess, who will have a smile on his face?

nope 😉 Joost was playing with Sun Caged back in the days ( with Marcel Conen( Ayreon live...Theater Equation,Universe and 01011001)and Rob van der Loo( Delain, now Epica) then Arjen booked Joost for the Star One tour(september 2002)...Joost replaced Lando ( After Forever keyboard player)in the middle of Invisible Circles tour 😉 basically Joost joined AF as cowriter for Remagine ( 2005)

Tom Englund from Evrrgrey is a really nice guy who does intervieuws,he did one with Tank and A&P reacts. They are making a new album now as we speak so maybe a nee rabbithole to go on to get to onow Evergrey ,itscreally good music with amazing vocals. I know you will like it❤
