What I find amazing is the level of fan respect for Arjen's wishes. He asked that cell phones/cameras not be used during the show because he didn't want low quality clips of the show appearing on KZbin/elsewhere. (So we can have quality such as this right here) Now, notice there was virtually no sign of phone capturing. That's just awesome! Thank you attendees!

The only "full" thing I recorded was the Evil Devolution solo - a moment I had never thought I'd hear live. Otherwise, I did as I always do, experienced the concert instead of getting my arms numb from making an amateur phone recording, lol.

@@CutCorners1 things don't work that way for everybody, unfortunately. I'm from Brazil, our money doesn't value that much (right now 1 euro = 6 reais) and a lot of people is poor and have a very low salary. Travelling to Europe to attend to a concert can take months or even a year of work (if we were to save all this money to do it), and people sometimes have rent or college to pay, a family to raise, etc. Depending on the job we cannot save much money. So sometimes it's beyond their will in a given time. Me, for example, I am going to Europe for the first time next year, I'll be 35. I have a nice job now, but a good amount of my money is spent with bills and basic needs. It took me years to save this money.

This video really made me cry. It is hard to believe and it is VERY SAD to think that I had the ticket for this show in hand, but I couldn't go because I couldn't get enough money to buy plane tickets. Everything was scheduled months ago (before the show), but unfortunately, I had to spend the money on other urgent things that came up. Things that you can't control sometimes. This is ONE OF MY favorite records of all time and it was a DREAM of years to see AYREON live. I was too happy to have bought the concert ticket months ago: FINALLY, I was going to see one of my favorite bands, one of my main influences in music. The day I had to sell my ticket for not being able to travel to the place, was one of the saddest days. Now it is to hope and hope for a "01011001" show. Sorry for my writing in English, it is difficult to concentrate on watching this video and remembering this event of selling the ticket at the last minute. BTW The video IS AMAZING, MIX IS GREAT, killer tones! Will do my best to buy the Bluray. Chees!

I remember a long long time ago ;-) when my Ex boyfriend father of my son told me ( prog music freak and collector and guitar player) you have to listen to Ayreon Into the Electric Castle. You must put the headphones and went on to explain this is a concept album with a story from A to Z and different characters so close your eyes follow and enjoy. Yes, it blew my mind. It reunited everything I loved about art and more. The story captures your attention and as was Moody Blues anyway to me, very prophetic at the same time. Love you Arjen beautiful soul and thank you to be on this crazy poor world. An appropriate choice! So many emotions attached to this album. I was already an Ayreon fan when it first came out, but it was so HUGE compared to the first two albums, so many big name singers (some of my favorites still to this day like Damian and Anneke), such a span of musical styles, so panoramic in scope. It really was the start of something huge. Thank you Arjen and company for making it happen live! And please do another studio album with Edward Reekers. He's still so amazingly good!
