Maybe it's weird to not pick a song from the 01011001 album, but this song really stood out for me... such energy on stage! The band is just amazing as we all know, I'll never know how they manage to play this complicated song with such unflappable ease. And what about these breath-taking vocals from Brittney Slayes? In the Facebook Ayreon Fan Group a few years ago there was a poll who you would like to see in a next project. I suggested Brittney Slayes with the remark that not only is she an incredible voice she also would would fit in as the nice person she is. And I included a link to an amateur Karaoke video of Brittney performing Queen of the Reich. I still like to think Arjen saw that post and that started this all 😄 I promised my stepson (who I introduced to Ayreon and now is a huge fan) that we would go to the next Ayreon concert if I could get tickets. I was lucky enough to get my hands on two VIP tickets and I can honestly say,... This was the best concert I have ever attended. And Brittney slaying Floor's parts and Fate of Man was the icing on the cake. What an incedible singer she is. What a blast we had that night. Just received the blue Ray's to relive it all again. 🤘

What a performance. Was there Sunday evening, best concert of my life. Slept in the same hotel as most musicians, was lucky enough to have breakfast with Brittney, her little one and Maggie. They were the most humble, sweet and down to earth people you can imagine. I am in my 40s and a seasoned business man, but not gonna lie i was quite starstruck. Next year, if there will be something going on, i will be there the whole weekend for sure. Just a small proposal for the next album Arjen: you could do a full female storyline. Brittney, Floor, Simone, Marcela, Irene, Maggie, Anneke etc. ... a man may dream ... whatever you will put out it will be great and i will be here for it. The best part (well, there are multiple best parts... they are playing on rotation in my brain, vying for attention) is the absolute JOY that all the musicians show on their faces. Johan looks like he is on the ride of his life, yet he, Ed, and the Lull are providing the very pulse that drives this song. Truly, Masters of their art. Marcel is stunning, fluid and precise as ever... how can he maintain sync with Joost without the visual cues?... the click must sound like a blur!! The heart of this song IS the Master Clock of a manic machine. It feels sooooo right, for this to be a T2 tribute. Congrats Arjen. Above, in and through it all, the vocal line is storytelling incarnate. Marcela and Irene do the impossible, AGAIN. Belted Backing Bliss. And the emotions and audience connection on Brittney's face tell not only the song's story, but her desire to share it with everyone there. -- -- Those eyes. That smile. The energy. I just loved that show so much. Incredibly talented artists, every single one of them, insane production and just overall it seemed that everyone on stage and in the audience had so much fun. I also love those guitars, man they are beautiful.

This was such an epic moment, the best "surprise" from the show! (I guessed it as soon as Brittney was announced to sing in the show) This song is just amazing overall, Brittney totally smashes it and I loved her pointing to Marcela (who sings the song in the "alternate timeline" CD 2 from the last Star One album!) and giving her and Irene some time to shine too. I loved watching it live in Tilburg and I'm looking forward to watching the newly arrived Blu-ray this weekend! Thanks for all these amazing experiences, Arjen!

Been watching to the show on Vimeo, i's awesome. I love Damien giving everyone a little extra sauce at the end of Comatose. Only feedback I have is that I liked when you had the track name appear on screen in past recordings and would have liked it here. Even the band name would be cool for non-Ayreon tracks like Fate of Man.
