So glad I was finally able to find a way of turning it off. I don't know why it was forced on, frame-gen is absolutely garbage. It just makes the image look a bit smoother but the game still feels like shit.

had random flickering in ark, the problem was g.sync.. disabled it and what a mirracle.. game no more flickering :)

I understand the game may look better with RT if it ever comes AND if it's a good implementation. But dude, it's gonna be taxing, you may need a GPU upgrade.

On previous maps with FSR FG I have noticed a performance loss compared to Nvidia DLSS FG. I have RTX 4070. Has anyone had the same experience?

They said FSR gives less fps compared to Nvidia DLSS but in theory it causes less crashes, not my case... still getting crashes

@@pumpkingoff986 I have very rare crashes, almost none with DLSS Frame Gen. What helped me was turning off the foot decals, but maybe that's not the real reason.

according to the devs its hidden for now but will come back later. you can still enable it in the gameusersettings ini file. I dont recommend it since its totally broken like the ascension. I tried the ascension but i cant make a clean cut scene video out of this current version :/

@@Kenflyer Do you know how to enable frame generation via the gamseusersettings file? I've never had issues with frame generation (only occasionally crashing when alt-tabbing) which is well worth the performance benefit.

Can you do the ascension cutscene yet?

I tried yesterday but its completely bugged. It triggers way too early and gives you pop ups notes. The first 30 seconds are skipped and sound is double and delayed. Conclusion: Currently impossible for me to make a clean ascension video, i just have to wait for wildcard to fix it. After the fix i will make it within 24 hours ;)

Here a quote from the discord from 6 hours ago: " Quick update on some things atm Rockwell Boss Fight currently triggers the ascension right after being defeated, meaning you're not able to earn to get the loot. Working on resolving this and other relation ascension issues, so would recommend avoiding Rockwell for now. " So hopefully the patch comes soon!
